We would not have been talking about Mourinho if the linesman had not ruled out a perfectly alright Scholes goal. And Porto do have a supply of good South American players who can not play in England becoz the work permit problem. So there!

As the theme of the week goes: Football is not fair! But then who says life is fair?

Anyway Mourinho IMO gives better interviews then Wenger(who doesn't seem to see anything )

@Zero and @and... The point was not ManU loosing, i was pointing to the fact the JM did manage Porto without Cash.. so please make sure what your talking bout.

But good that you cribbed abt luck again.

These Phrases seem to be becoming tautologically correct

"We were unlucky"
"They were lucky"
"Arsenal were Lucky"
"Arsenal were Lucky again"
"Chelsea were Lucky"
"Chelsea were Lucky again"

Wonder where was this lucky crap when they won the UCL final against a much better team purely on LUCK!!!

this is for all the Man "Shit we were Unlucky" Utd fans...
I have prepared a small compilation (and mind you its small compilation... you can actually find much more crib)

@Desperado: You are indeed lucky to have all these unlucky blokes to back you up for the lucky list of unlucky quotes, which, you were indeed lucky to find.

Rafa Benitez has already started building for the future by signing the defensive quartet of the wonderkid Jack Hobbs, Miquel Roque, Godwin Antwi and the highly rated Antonio Barragan.

I am also hearing that he is keeping tabs on Rob Coyle, a defensive midfielder playing for spanish 2nd division club Huesca and is also reported to be lining up a bid for a Chelsea midfielder ;-)

Hey Peshwa, my dear friend, you forgot one thing...or rather made a mistake ....or in my opinion, chose to misrepresent facts. The LEAGUE starts on the 28th. The SEASON began on Saturday.......

So people, any guesses why the Peshwa doesn't want to mention the season-opener, the curtain-raiser that was played on Saturday night?????

Yes, because AC Milan beat Juventus 2-1 in the Luigi Berlusconi trohy match on Saturday night. Goals by Serginho and Kaka, with assists coming from Rui Costa and Sheva........a taste of what is to come......

Cheers!

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said the plan to help out Juve with the loan came from club owner and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. "The idea came from Berlusconi after the injury to Buffon," he said. "He was very saddened that the national team keeper hurt himself in the friendly even though we should be clear that it was an accident that is part of the game."
A taste of things to come yes : When Milan know when they are up against a team of superior quality all they do try to do is injure the best players in the opposition in a pre-season friendly. Tsk Tsk.

And yes a slight correction , the season does not begins on the 28 th but rather it begins this Saturday Night , With the SUPERCOPPA ITALIA
Needless to say it features the trophy winning clubs of last season The Italian Champions and the cup winners .
A certain Rich Man's Toy is not involved in first official game of the season .

Cheers!
