Real have signed Benzema........

Ask all the players in the country which club they would like to play for and 99% would say 'Manchester United'. The other 1% are liars.

( discussion time )
Secondly United is in shock transfer of Owen to manchester united .. is that good ??
Last but not least .. most of other club ..still trying their best to buy player but .. as real made the hystersis of high market no one willing to sell their jewel for less money .... like David , Ribery etc ... so that why still there is room for transfer .. .
So which top side still need a player to make their side more balance than their rivals.?
so lets hears your views ..as i love to read the thought from all of you with so much analysis .. and so far this thread is becoming dead .. so let the ball roll again

Van Nistelrooy has asked the Dutch contingent to leave Madrid so that they get enough play time ahead of the World Cup next summer.

Owen to United is bit like the Sheringham move. He is on a free so would not cost us any money. The only problem is his astronomical wages. If we can tie him down for a deal of around 60k a week or probably a pay as you play deal like Saha at Everton, then I think it will be a great bargain. He is or has been a clinical finisher and would be really useful. United are bound to create chances and he is a proven goal scorer.

Ribery has said that it is either Real or nothing. Can't see how Chelsea or United are going to persuade him to come to England.

Owen to Man Utd is an awesome move. He is a proven finisher, perfect as a cover-up for Rooney and Berbatov. And he won't throw tantrums if he is asked to warm the bench. Also he is coming in on a free transfer. Only grey area is that he is injury-prone.

Hi all,

M new to dis forum but nt at all to d world of Football. I am a bigtime Manu fan. Currently d most important need is to fill d void created bcoz of Ronaldo leaving d club. Mnau needs a midfielder who has d ability to provide crosses as well as score sum1 like Robben or Benayoun.

Re: Football Club - 04-07-2009, 10:26 AM

well well well its michael owen
i am a big fan of owen and he is clinical finisher. A very interesting and surprising move by SAF when we thought he was sleeping. By the way SAF has ahabit of throwing surprises.I suely know owen will play good at Man Utd. but the only concern is his fitness. if he is able to keep himself fit then he will be a great asset to Man Utd. my all best wishes to Owen for his future. Let us expect some more surprises from SAF. well the battle is on.

Owen to United is quite a stunning transfer.

He's still 28, a proven finisher and on his day one of the best strikers in the world. Besides he's on a 'free' and been put on a 'pay as you play' deal, so the risk involved is absolutely zero.

He's not a replacement for Ronaldo's goals or Tevez's commitment, not yet atleast. But a good addition to the squad.

with Real Madrid signing Benzema where is the place for other players like Robben, sneijder, guti etc. they should be sold. This is a good oppertunity for Man Utd to hunt for Sneijder or Robbens. Well know SAF is trying to bring Toure from barcas,it is unlikely that barca is going to leave their prized asset whom they have used in almost all positions, midfeild ti central defending. Still SAF has some work to do for the midfield of Man Utd.

Absolutely, the offer by SAF itself clearly indicates that Owen is just a backup player. He is a good player, but for his consistency. Im sure SAF would be able to draw the best out of him.
