I'm looking for interesting gift ideas.. Normally I'm never at a loss for weird and creative ideas.. but when it's gift shopping time, my brain clamps up and freezes ..
I'm looking for a gift idea that is innovative, useful, shows that I care, and importantly - doesn't cost the moon.
Gift ideas for both guys and girls, friends and lovers, parents and in-laws..

Gift ideas for both guys and girls, friends and lovers, parents and in-laws.. | Pray what do we get paid??
Gifts that have so far worked for me:
1.Girlfriend-- Hand crafted crossword puzzle(she was a CW aficionado) that spelt I LOVE YOU right down the middle.
2.Mom-- "Mama" by SpiceGirls-- sung and played on guitar by yours truly (and simultaneously recorded onto cassette for future enjoyment/torture)
3.Close Friend(Girl)-- ISD call to wish her on her birthday (she thot i wldnt remember and had already forgiven me when I called!!)
4.Close Friend(Girl)-- Letter written on those stamped inland letters.Didnt post coz I didnt have her address so just handed it to her when I met her.
5.Close friend(Boy) --Was leaving for states and gf wasnt at his house. At 11 in the nite, called her, picked her up and reached his house. KODAK moment

Gift ideas for both guys and girls, friends and lovers, parents and in-laws.. | Hello 64 bit waale bhaiya
I have the following useless ideas: - For ppl who have a computer: A complete "format your PC pack" (R)TM , containing CDs of all the basic s/w - Office, Windows, Browsers, Messengers, Drivers etc.
- Pack of DVDs - buy blank DVDs and copy movies, music pictures etc.
- Crackers
(my personal favourite) - Electricity - don't beat me up, its possible now - NDPL has come up with gift cards of Rs. 500 denomination - which can be gifted to your relatives living in areas covered by NDPL in Delhi.
More silly and creative ideas later...abhi mera processor kaam nahin kar raha P.S XP Stands for Xtra Pagal, No connection with MyCrowSoft

I got an awesome birthday gift. It was a nice cognac bottle with a couple of quite peg measures. All this metal cased with a leather jacket.

Ah.. been busy
You know it's not so nice to make such senti gifts I think, harder if there's going to be a parting in the future. Something which will make them say "Wow" or "So thoughtful", fine.. but not something which will make them grin inside and say "He's hooked completely".. :P
But that was for the girls.. apart from it, yes.. the effort is worth it!

I think (esp if someone is sick) fruits are the best sort of gifts
I would carry watermelon and gunna (cane sugar) हवामे ताश का घर नही बनता|
रोने से बीगडा मुक्कदर नही बनता|
दुनीया को जीतने का होसला रखो यारो|
एक जीत ओर हार से कोइ सीकंदर या फकीर नही बनता
