I recently gave the entrance exam for IIML WMP (Working Managers Program ) and have been shortlisted for GD /PI.

I was initially planning to give CAT this year . Then came accross this program and decided to give this exam as well.

Now , I just want to analyse whether this course can provide as good career opportunities as doing a fulltime MBA does.

Pros :
I get to keep my job and increase experience.
This course is a classroom course for 3 years. Classes held 3 days a week . So almost as rigorous as a full time course.
IIM Brand name and lineage.
CAT like entrance exam . So no compromise on quality of intake.

Cons :
A full time MBA is anyday better than Part time MBA.
First Batch.
No Campus Placements will be provided.
3 years seems tooo long.
The fees is around 3 lackhs for the whole 3 year course.(Same as a full time MBA from IIMs )

The main reason for me to go for this option is that I need the money my job is giving me. Though I can pursue a full time MBA , it will be a financial strain for my family , but it is not completely unaffordable.

I would like to know your opinions on whats the right thing to do. Lets see whats the take of PG junta on this.

Is there any one who got a call for GD/ PI WMP Noida program ??

Any views for how to prepare for the same ??

Yeah i got the call.am also looking out for how good an option this is.really wish to commit if i can stay commited for the full three years.

as for gd/pi i have no clue.

I got the GD/PI call for wmp. I guess this is Not the 1st batch. There are already wmp batches running...
anyway, what's the score you got?
