or u can just join IIMK...
It would have caught up with L by the time u graduate and u will have a great story to tell someday.

but if u do want to join L only, then i say u forget about the 45K... only thing u can try is to call up admissions office and ask them not to encash your dd... but a disclaimer is a disclaimer so u shud be real lucky to get it back.

Hey Dude
If u have relatives there then u can ask them to talk to the admin directly. Ur DD haven;t reached there. right? if that's the case then why don't u first call the admin......i know that they will not bend the rules .....but if that does not make any difference ......then why don't u fly there and try to convince them....i think talking in personal makes a lot of difference....and u can say that since they have not received the DD ..and u will be reaching before that...u can prove ur point there.....and it will cost ...let's say 20,000( max ) .. for teh tickets and the stay.....so net profit Rs 25000 .......u can think abt it......if it looks good ...then hurry up man ..book ur ticket now...

Hey, cum on, it's a risk u knew u were taking. U knew that if you got selected somewhere else, u'll giv up K and go there, and u will lose the fees as it's no refundable.

Jus try a few times or give it up...
Cancelling the DD may land u in trouble - u've committed it to them on legal paper, and flying there may jus make it 65,000 +....
