Congrats to all the '2nd Listers' at IIML...
Can anybody of u plz give the deadline given to u to 'show interest' n pay up the 15K? The '1st Listers' had 9th May as the deadline, I believe...

I know some1 who's waitlisted, and this is the message they get:

If there is any vacancy exists, waiting list candidate will be issued our formal admission offer letter serially after May 16, 2005. In this case also, you will have to send us your formal written acceptance on the prescribed form enclosing a Demand Draft of Rs.15,000/- (non-refundable) in favour of IIM Lucknow payable at Lucknow, so as to reach us on or before June 6, 2005.

So the last date for 2nd list payments should be around 15th May...(Note that there's a link for a form as well)

A hypothesis of possible calls issued by IIML in various lists...

Owing to last year's experience, they mite hv issued close to 260 calls (their intake for this yr)... as per popular opinion here, it may be assumed tht arnd 40-45% of those mite hv opted for the seat offered... tht means arnd 120 seats consumed... for the remaining 140 seats, they may hv called arnd 150-odd in 2nd list n WL each... (again safely assuming 1:1 ratio of calls n those who respond, with ample buffer - cos as one goes down the merit list, the acceptance %age shud ideally increase)

I didn't get on the second list either. Just when you thought whats worse than getting the boot? Its getting the boot twice!!!!!

had given up all hopes of an MBA but recvd the letter by post today. cudnt make out at first

the feeling is slowly sinking in
