lowest percetile to convert a call in IIMS

Hi All,

Let us know the lowest percentile which converted a call to IIMs. This time B gave quite some calls to people with percenitiles as low as 95... so am just curious as to how many people from these converted a B call.. if not B then also, let us know the lowest percentile which converted an IIM call..

i got a call from B at 97.54 percetile.
But failed to make it to B even after a good Case study discussion and a really good interview. I guess the percentiles were given a lot of weightage ..........but if that is the case then why did B give a call at low percentiles.............whats on there mind dudes.........does any one with a low percentile convert B..........i dont think so...............

Well I guess that would be me...converted my IIMB call with 97.92%ile.

I have 5 yrs work exp in a MNC (IT) in Bangalore. I gave my best shot at the GD/PI and rest I wud say was destiny!

Ha..so,here the experience speaks..... thats the +ve aspect inspite of the percentile.

hi all,

this time the iims have given calls to 88%ilers too. i was told abt this by the centre manager of ims. but people with lower percentile who have been called definitely have a good amount of work ex and have to perform very well in the gd and pi rounds to justify the call.

so i guess now all the good institutes are getting rid of the "percentile cut-off" syndrome and adopting the western approach of weighing the entire profile of the candidate. dont be surprised if the cat form issued next year would have essay type questions as well !!!

I heard of a 97.7 converting. And a 97.3 gettin a low waitlist. Both in IIMB.

hi

know a guy with 97.7 converting k the only call he got.
others at 99.77 converting nothing.
this is criminal on the part of iim's .
how on earth can people whose diff. be 20 marks be of same caliber.
it sucks.
