hey gautam.congrats for joining imt & welcome 2 MIB batch.
wats ur profile?where do u stay?ur backgrnd etc..
as u must no abt the 1st installment from the IMT call letter,u have 2 pay 1.17L.2nd installment in oct(15th,i think) of 43 or 45 thousand.3rd installment of 43 or 45thousand in jan(jan 15th,i think).its trimester system.
2nd yr breakup not given yet.but it totals 2 3Lakh

I have done B.E(Computer Science ) from BIT,Mesra ,Ranchi
I have a work experience of 6 months in WebTek Labs (Delhi),
which is a software testing company. I was working there as a
Business Development Executive(marketing of Software Testing Services)
My CAT percentile was 95.7.
I stay in Delhi.
I surely am joining the programme.I have already paid the first installment.

Need help urgently,

Someone i Know has got admit in KJ Somyaya and has paid the fees( entire amount)

But today we come to know that he has secured an admit in IMT MIB.

Guys really confused....

Without any favoritism... could you please advise which would be better... IMT MIB or KJ somayay PGDBM.

Coz if we cancel the admit in KJ SOMAYA he stands to lose 35000 to 40000 Rs.

I faced a similar situation last year .Lost 25,ooo bucks in the process and joine IMT -MIB . Do not regret it .
At my time the dilemna was that we were the 2nd batch so placement scene was unclear .The placement details are there on the website with averge ,highest ,lowest salary being mentioned. The institute has been very honest about those figures .

With IMT u also get the hostel facility which at that point was not there at Somaiya .

There is a huge fee difference though .Somaiya around -2.25 ,IMT 5 lacs
U can also check out Somaiya 's placement figures .

What I would suggest is that u speak to the head of ur coaching institute ,he will give a more unbiased advise .

Anyone in IMT wouldn't know what he is missing at Somaiya.
Pranav,my class mate also left KJ for IMT-MIB ,he is from Bombay .If u want I can get his number for u /
