i got my letter yesterday from imt. congrats to all who made it . well done ppl, hope to meet all of u in ghaziabad.
as far as i know, the ppl who have been waitlisted will get their letters in a couple of days.

I am ajith from kerala, its a long way for me from thiruvanathapuram to ghaziabad.
IMT is the best call that i have got. my cat percentile is 96.4

got thru IMT bt not keen on joining.... had call from MDI n IMT. bt cudnt convert MDI.
actually wanna do finance. n this is a fact tat finance at IMT is not good. therezzz for sure problem in placement n even finance faculty is not so good. ask any honest senior, he will tell u. its image has also gone down due to all the negative reasons v ppl know very well. so i think its better to work harder n try again next yr.

n guy why r u even thinking of comparing XIMB and IMT.. XIMB is way ahead IMT. just go n join XIMB.

Hi Friends,

Ive four final calls -imt gzd HR , Fore, UBS chandigarh and NIRMA. But actually im confused Between FORE and IMT -HR. I have already deposited Rs.55000 at FORE.
Please post any info u people have about IMT HR i.e. its placements, summers and faculty.
My cat percentile was-95.48%

All suggestions are welcome... plz contribute.

Posted this on the IMT alumni thread before, but since nobody's replied I'll post it here also.

Got a final call from IMT Ghaziabad for PGDBM. But I dont think I'll be going there as I have a call from MICA also. And I still have the IIMC results to come. But I havent completely made my mind up yet - will decide in the next couple of days. Is IMT really a standard business-school? I know the placements are good - but when I went there for my GD/PI, somehow I got the impression that it isnt the most professionally run place. Anyone currently at IMT want to correct me if I'm wrong?
Btw, they - IMT want me to send 1,17,000 by April 11 and there wont be any refund!! Are they crazy?? What are those of us supposed to do who have IIM calls??

Hi Payal,

I suggest you go for FORE and not IMT-HR. IMT just boasts of good placements. The Placements are not that good as such. The average for a normal student would be no more than 3 lacs(leaving the students with jacks) and for HR, the average this year was around 2 lacs/annum, the highest being 3.5 lac. I have done my PGDBM from IMT Gzb and I know that. Get in touch if you have any more queries. My cell No. is <snip>

Hi

Wait for your IIMC Result. I wish you best of luck for that. Out of the current options you have, go for MICA. Its miles ahead of IMT Ghaziabad.
