i am a delhi wala myself and i would say that imi and nirma r comparable imi has better average because of locational advantage
to get a good picture to compare institutes compare the profiles offered by same companies in those in those institutes and u will get a clear picture that both nirma and imi r at par

Hi NIMians
Well perhaps i won't be one among all of you as i hav got 30th in waiting list. As these ppl released a list of 175 ppl in mains when they hav only the strength of 120. So overall it becomes to 85th in waitng list.
Can seniors make me clear abt it? and in best case plz help me for the overall educationalcost in NIRMA including HOSTEL and avg mess charge so i can apply for the loan if i will get the selection letter. atleast i am sending the DD of 15k right now.

Well if u ask me i would say again say that NIM is much better than kJ and welingkars fore n siib.


don't worry about the placements over here 100% with companies like TCS, polaris, hcl,honeywell videocon,kotak,icici, tata tele,bajaj,shopper's stop , pantaloons ,ahsok leyland,arvind mills and many more.....with 2 foreign placements.

i'll be doin my summers in PEPSI.


and as already confirmed by somebody NIM is at par with IMI. don't worry guys.

somebody asked abt the fee structure. well it is given in the prospectus(b.coz i m not sure about your fee structure).
i hav asked my friends to interact with u all. we r always there to help u guys. so don't worry and i m sure u guys are all set to carry the NIM brand further.

So by now many of us have finally made our minds to join NIRMA.
Can we have all the NIMians or would be NIMians contributing at one place.. At present we have 3 threads running for our NIRMA 2005-07 batch. 2 being in the CAT section with the following URLs :

i have a waiting and the accon to my proffs in cl the top 25 would surely clear..but i m dilemma as i already have confirm admission in tapmi ..how does it compare with nirma..it would greatly help in making my decision .. nobody is giving me a clearer picture ..plz pg junta give some gyan!!

me too got final admissions at tapmi and nirma.. taking up tapmi for sure.. both colleges are good, but i wud say TAPMI better on most grounds so I dont think that TAPMI vs. NIRMA is a tough decision! ( tats personal opinion. no offence!)
