myself a computer engineer and really undecided abt which subject to prepare for

interviews .so guys pl tell which subjects you are preparing and discuss abt it

and we can also discuss abt the MATHEMATICS questions also!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope moderators will not close this thread as it is a relevant one!!

Of course the mods wont lock it.
So smart of you to think about GD/PI...that was one topic which has never been discussed on any thread...
This thread will awaken the PG junta from there ignorance and this thread will have made history in original thinking .

MOREOVER EVERY ENGG PREPARIN FOR CAT OR NE OTHER JOB INTERVIEW SHOULD HAVE ONE SOLID SUBJECT IN MIND WHICH CAN B DISCUSSED AS FAVOURITE SUBJECT DURING THE INTERVIEW...

me too a comp eng in the making trying to escape the curse of the bits and bytes cures by shifting to management.

am very weak in theory and am thus moe confused regarding fav subject.so all u fundus out there,guide this illiterate and suggest some easy topics
will saying OS help in any way.

guys me thinking of preparing two subjects

1)programming in c/c++
2)compilers

do you think two subjects are sufficient!!!!!!!

Guys!!
I think there should be a thread specifically for Software guys preparing for GD Pis and i think a thread of this kind would cater to their need. No need for mods to lock this up..

Well i too have selected two subjects :-
1: Operating Systems
2: Databases


Can anyone suggest how deep does the panel dig into your technical interests?? I would be really pleased if someone could throw light on this.

i think we should start a thread for all the computer science and engineering aspirants for mba...

and have some of out senior members who have a cse background to help us decide atleast 2 subjects for interviews .

i think os and database will b a gud idea... i was also thinkin abt computer networks... even thow its a real wide topic....

what do u say ppl?

Now NOw dont go on a thread starting spree.
My initial post which ws also in a sarcastic vein was taken seriously,but no matter!
Whatever u have to post ,post it here...No more threads for GD/PI topics...we have hordes of those and I'm sure u'll find one to suit ur purpose to through the serach option.
Only after all options are exhausted and u dont find what u want in any relevant thread,post a new thread.

This might sound strange....
My favourite subject is Computer Networks but I don't know much about it!!

Like Catophillic, even I wud like to know how deeply they dig into your tech knowledge. Also can you call a programming language, say 'C' as a subject?
I ask this bcoz during campus placement, they said C can't be favourite subject because its a language..
