TAPMI 2005 GD/PI Experience

JUst finished my Direc interv
i was the first person to be interv by the dir for the academic year 2005-2007

8.30 reportng time
8.45 to 9.15 presentation abt the college
9.30 to 10.00 GD based case study (18 ppl)
10.0 to 10.10 GD summary
topic given for extempore speech 3 min to think & then 3 min to speak
They were 5 panels with each panel 18 to 19 ppl
Mine was the 1st panel...after everybody was thru with extempore the 1dt 5 were asked to report for panel interv at 11.30
mine was the 1st ... even though i hve experience my interv was entirely on acads
with or without work ex ur fundas on acads should be strong

i screwd my panel interv
was asked to report dir interv at 1.30
1.30 - before going for dirs interv was asked write an essay for 20 min
How MBA would help me in career option.
Dir interv room had 3 ppl but no director
Interv was general was for abt 10min

Hello guys (especially who have finished the TAPMI GD?PI)

Can anyone tell me, when will the tapmi ppl tell whether u r in or out???
I mean will the result be told on the next day itself??

And also plz post the topics on which GD was held.

well i've got my gd/pi on 22nd. if anyone else has on the same date, kindly pm. apart from which can some kindly soul type out the case study? i have last years case study, will try to post the same a little later. can we also know specific questions asked in the intervews?

generally the extempore topics were easy. I got "should v allow private universities". I was on panel two. One in my panel got "Kareena Kapoor, preity zinta and Rani Mukherjee. who is the best actor??" . Three topics were given of which v have to select one. Extempore is not a issue. But u 'll b screwed in the interview panel for sure. I didnot have even one academic qn. Every pullstop I make was made into a question. I have written in my application, that I want to b an enterprenuer/ They asked is MBA essential for any one to b an enterprenuer? . There r so many without MBA like Ambani. I think they want us to ask some qns after the interview is over. Directors interview is tomorrow morning. waiting for that. I'm not satisfied with the way interview went as I was uncomfortable for most part of the interview . All the Best for u guys!!!
