Hie Mum-PGites!!

Wel.... lemme begin with intro... i m Monil Ruparel... in final yr engg at SPCE, andheri ... stay at kandivali... attempted CAT04... got 95.11... aiming only for IIMs n the ilk... so now aiming for CAT05.


i had joined IMS this yr... the classes are wrth it if the faculty is good... i had a mix of the good n the OK ones.... n theres no ideal place for it! my classmate... never used to attend them regularly... has got all 6 IIM calls!!


well.... the idea put forth by ppl out here.... helps a lot... if we cud meetup n exchange material.... books ... or at times..... arrange doubt clearing sessions. i have complete IMS material.. n sum Mock tests of CL n Time.

neways... folks do giv in ur complete intro....which course... n coll? n if u have taken CAT b4 or so! working junta can add in wher they work.

well.... divya.... IMS material is really good... i would rate it A for RC/VA and DI, and B+ for Quant.

i have seen a little bit of CL stuff .... for Quant... and Time as Well..... i felt... Time Quant material is better..... and so are their Mock test Quant section!

so welcome to the CAT family.... n ..... happy Cating!!!

n no first time blues ..... coz even a person who has taken CAT b4.... its a totally diff 2 hours out there in every CAT ppr!! CAT 04 was 1 eg. n i feel theres gonna be this surprise element every yr from now on!!

i dont have an extra set of the same.... just a complete set of IMS material.... though i have some freinds.... who have taken CAT this yr... n r sure of converting it to calls..... will chk up with them.... if they can lend it.... i will pass it on to u.

also... keep a lookout Time material.... i want that for Quant. if u get it... d let me knwo...

neways.... wel... wher to start from depednds n ur strengths n weakness... though... i will tell u wat u m doing now!

reading readin and only reading!!!! coz... i m not good at RCs... n wanna attack dat first... else generally... the engg junta can do well in quant n di. though do a regular practice of about 30 miins everyday on each section.! n start reading diverse stuff.... editorials of TOI n Hindu, go thru 5-10 words of Wordlist ... !!
