Hello all..

I am right now a Chennaite and will be in Mumbai by July end. I will be working there (my first job). so only weekend offs.. I have completed my BTech jus now. . I already gave CAT last year and secured 98.5+ percentile but no calls. I want to give it a shot this year.

a) I would like to know the best coaching centres available in Mumbai. I would like to join a fast track course. (On week ends as I can't attend on evenings of weekdays, though its possible to attend in the early mornings 6-8 etc). Any centre offering that? If so, when are they starting and the "timings" and schedule (i.e week ends or weekdays etc) please.

b) In case its not possible to join contact classes, which centres mock cats are good? I have heard a lot about Career Launcher and till now have fixed my mind on that. Any suggestions..?

I am totally new to Mumbai and hence want to land there a bit prepared.. So kindly help me out.. I also would like to participate in any grp meetings etc. conducted by junta in this thread..

hey ppl

posting after a really long time....

actually life is pretty messed up ... caught up bad between work and studies.

Classes goin on regularly, but not much time to study or follow up.

G2Gs dont seem to be feasible options for me atleast till the classes are on. Saturdays i need to extract some time for self study.

Whats the scene with the rest of the junta? Any G2Gs happenin? Studies ka status kya hai?

Post in ppl... pls tell me i am not the only one who is screwed up at the minute...

God help...

Hey Kunal,

Me too in the same boat as you, just that my boat has sunk a long time back. My preps like the TITANIC. They have been there for a long time (given the CAT 3ice before, so preps have been done), but are of no use (they have been done a long time back and cannot be salvaged from the bottom on the ocean)

And to make matters worse, i m still clocking about 90 hrs a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. this Saturday and Sunday i was relatively free (coz i had to work just abt 8 hrs a day), and I wanted to go for the g2G, but as u very well know it, The g2Gs have stopped and we had just celebrated its closure on the 11th of June at rohit's place. (sounds good doesn't it..??)

All efforts trying to revive it have failed as none of the people have responded, neither on the forum and nor on the email group..!!

So, as a goodwill gesture, I again ask all of you, whether u ppl think, its worthwhile for u all to kindly be present at the next g2G to be hekld this Saturday at 2:00pm at Chembur, Diamond garden Barista..!! unless of course all of u have decided to take the CAT next year

Do not ask me the agenda as of now, coz I will not post it, unless I get some conformations. And yes, this would be one of those last times, wherein I m asking all of u to participate. There are quite a few of you who have left the CAT (that's what it looks like)..!!

And their names are as follows:

1. Sarabjit: She was there for the first g2G, but soon crashed out. All efforts
to call her/ locate her have failed and she is now a long forgotten story

2. Akanksha P. Kumar: Same as above. But here, there is a slight difference.
Even though all persuasion to personally call her have failed (we work in
the same company but still all efforts have failed), so she is again a long
gone history.

3. Bhushan: One of the few dare devil types, who started the forum with a
Big bang, but after the 2nd or 3rd g2G, failed to keep up the enthu (or the
lack of it)

4. Pawan: Attended the first few G2Gs and then disappeared God knows where. Is
known to make frequent trips back home, but dunno why he never attends G2Gs.

5. All of us: Attended the first 10 G2Gs, but then after celebrating the get together on 11th, all of us have parted ways and seem to be telling the others, well, we’ll meet u the next time. I don’t think anyone is doing much study. Till the g2Gs were there, we used to study, but now I hear (and experience) the same everytime someone posts something here.

Then u know, I sit and wonder, why aren’t the people coming in for any g2Gs. The newbies are having the enthu but the regular junta’s enthu has gone God knows where.

But guyz, did u check the Numerology..??

10 g2Gs -> All’s well..
11th June, 2005 -> party.
And then -> All’s quiet..!!

Looks like we were celebrating ‘DUS’ only much before its release ..!!

And guess what..?? This Saturday is 16th and we can have exactly 19 G2Gs (if we have one on this Saturday and then we regularly have it), well the last G2g, the 19th One, falls on 19th November, 1 day before the CAT.

So all said and done, u decide, where u wanna be. Whatever u ppl decide, rest assured, each and every one of u has my good wishes and will find a mention in all my prayers (which incidently are also as frequent as the g2gs ).

This sounds like a thank you and Alvida kinda message and it could well be that..!! Don't wanna be there where ppl lead a dead life. I wanna be where the action is...!!

Agar tum logon ne chaha to fir milenge.. IIms main to nahin par haan, agle saal, ussi Barista par, ya Dadar CCD par..!!

By the way, in case we never get a chance to meet, it was great knowing all u ppl..!!

Every morning i go thru Forbes list of 40 richest Indians. If my name is not in there, i go to work..!!!
