Hi CATAspirants,

I am starting this thread so that all people in PUNE can start sharing their material as well as knowledge. I have planned to give CAT 2005 after getting meagre 91.25 in this year CAT.

This forum will provide us an opportunity to share experiences.

I am having CL and CF material of CAT. I am ready to share it with anyone who needs it.

I need TIME material so if anyone from Pune has it then please give it to me .

I am amazed .....either everyone is getting normal from CAT, XAT, FMS results or thinking this is too early to prepare for CAT 2005.

Come on dudes,
let`s target first mock cat conducted by TIME which is usually in June.

let`s share CAT material ... let me know how is PT pune , TIME pune facultywise. as far as CL pune is concerned its great ..u got Chandra , an IIM-L alumni guy to cheer u up and guide.

plz share ur experiences with other institutes as well as ur strategy 4 cat preparation.

Do u know how is TIME Pune in terms of teaching faculty

Govi, i don`t know exactly how TIME faculty in Pune is!
will do some investgation....

one thing is sure...TIME material is good one and this is time to restart CAT preparation. As u might know TIME Mock CAT starts a bit early in June-JUly so at that TIME we should go with full preparation, right?

HRH, u friend u r sure to make way to IIM this time....just put extra effort on Quant. I ve been with CL till date there faculty as well as material of Quant is great. ....

btw GOvi, HRH r u working people?

i do . so thinking abt joining TIME workex batch so that i will b consistent in prepartion...wat do u say?

hey its gr8 to have punekars taken the initiative.

i got 90 % tile in cat though that was the only test i had taken for 2005 and missed XL by azilch 97.59 % tile
i have the CL material with me and planning to buy the IMS material as i m bit weak in verbal and join time test series in june.
please suggest which material is better IMS or time?

I don`t know exactly how good is TIME english materail but I am sure IMS is known for their good verbal material. CF also got good English material.

Thanks for your inquiry on T.I.M.E. CAT 2005 Classes.

We do have weekend batches - two classes on Saturdays (4.00-6.00, 6.00-8.00 pm) and Sundays 1 class - 8.00-10.00 am. New batches will start on March 5 and March 19 in March 2005.

Our CAT training is over 120+ classes through Nov 2005 and includes 18 AIMCATs and GD-PI training. Classroom sizes are small under 25 per class for better personal attention and faculty are mostly IIM alumni and experienced members in all areas. Material is over 5,000+ pages and updated every year.

We recommend you to visit us at Namita (1 fl), Opp. ICICI Bank, Apte Road, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune between 9.30 am and 8.00 pm on Mondays through Saturdays and get counseled on T.I.M.E. and our course structure and enrol. We need 3 pp size photographs and a check for enrolment.

We are glad to inform you that in CAT 2004 T.i.M.E. All India had 1,500+ IIM Calls and T.I.M.E. Pune (in it`s first year of operation in Pune) had 73+ IIM Calls besides another 25+ Calls from SP Jain, MDI, NITIE, XLRI etc.

Me too thinking abt CAT 2005. But tell me from where to buy second hand/pirated TIME or IMS material? ABC(Appa Balwant Chowk) doesn' t help.

I had very poor percentile in CAT 2003
