You are right in pointing about the batch size. Because when it comes to coaching it certainly isnt "more the merrier".Cf classes are a bit crowded also classes are only twice a week .Do you know any classes which have more frequency of lectures in a week .

TIME seems to be pretty good i Pune. .. i was a student of the TIME classroom training last yr in Calcutta.. one thing's pretty sure.. U'll be given personal attention.. and every MOCK wud be a revelation!
About CL.. last yr each MOCK was unique! .. quants, DI were class apart.. U get to see new types of graphs/caselets.. u see the surprise element which we get in every CAT becomes easy to face once we go through such MOCKs...

This is Ankit Goel, working for Infosys-Bangalore(originally a Delhiite).
Was in Pune for Training from July through November.

I came across this thread and felt it would be helpful to you guys.
I enrolled with CL at F.C.Road for Gallop Batch (sort of Crash Course).

I must say that I have become a great die-hard fan of Mr. Chandrashekhar Vijay Singh.
He is an IIM-L Alumnus, Academic Head for Career Launcher.

Well, about me.
I got 98.65 percentile with calls from IIMB, MDI, NITIE.
(QA - 99.38, VA - 87.5, DI - 95.55)

So, guys, If you really want to join some coaching for value-addition
PLZZZZ
enrol with CL.
And do what Chandra says - follow his words like Psalms from Bible.
Amazing Person.Amazing Teacher.

Well, this was a biased review towards CL (more so becuz of Chandra Sir)
Rest all I should not comment but IMS IS A STRICT NO-NO.
I haven't seen a greater DEmotivator than those guys.

And dont worry,CL can really take care of all your needs.Can you actually believe that Chandra Sir himself JUGAADed MockCAT papers of other institutes like PT,TIME,CF.
Again, everything will boil down to Chandra Sir and Career Launcher.

P.S: Pune rocks. Keep the spirits high. I dont think I will be able to find a better city to live. Waiting for my MBA to get over after which I plan to settle in Pune. See ya guys sometime.

Me also from pune..
i have not taken any classroom coaching last year but have few pts to say...
1) IMS - it has the creme la creme of india... there u will find the best of the competition... but alas success has gone into their head... had a bad exp with their test series... but they still have good teachers but cant say the same for their material..
2) TIME :- joing only for Test series. nobody in pune knows about time except those on PG.com

3) CF:- if u can get hold of their material (any year would do) that is enuf... rest all about them is crap..

4) CL:- Last yr these ppl had shown good propect of becoming good insti.. they take pains to attend ur prob personally and have different activities.. me planning to take their test series (either CL or TIME)

5) PT:- dont know much about them they have just started in Pune..

My take for complete package CL
IMS if dont get bogged by its difficulty level...
Time only for test series..
PT ur choice

I agree with each word written by Ankit about Chandra sir and pune CL.

Last year I too joined CL and of course I give full credit to them for watever I got in last CAT.(even though it is not far impressive i got moral boost of croosing 90percentail figure)

I m working professional so hardly found any time to study on workdays. Last year i spent most of my evenings at CL FC Road center. I bet u ll not find flexibility to attend any class by any sir and guidance by Chandra sir in any other institute. Like Ankit I too regard him as a best teacher. U just attend his Quant/DI classes and forget ur worries.Btw we had Vivek Sir from Kanbay to teach Quant........another great Quant master.

So if u r looking 4 any institute where u can hang around to do group study or individual one at any time of day ---join CL.

I ve decided to join TIME this time as I got whole material of CL. I ve heard abt TIME`s great result last year in Pune. Another reason to join TIME is their material and marathon Mock Cat series beginning in June.
Of course, I will b joining CL test series in Aug.

Get charged!!!!!!!!

Gave CAT04..%ile= 97.11, Quant 94..DI 94..Verbal 92..Calls: MDI, SPJain...Cudnt convert SP Jain..MDI Waitlisted!!

Had joined CL Borivli, B'bay last year..Classes was an absolute waste..but the Achievers batch was good...CL Mock Cats were gr8 last time...

I was thinking..this time no classes..but after hearing abt Chandra..Im thinking again..how helpful is this CL-Gallop course?? When does it start?? whats the fees..Is the test series included??

Lets work together and crack CAT05...

FEES - 9000/- but doesnt include PDP.in case u get calls,u hav to enrol again.
Test Series included with Classroom on weekends only(BIGGEST ADVANTAGE)

What are the timings of the CL batch...heard so much abt Chandra Sir that now I m thinking of joining it...please sumbody let me know are the timings flexible??? what incase we miss a lecture...bcoz in Infy we can come a bit late but leaving time its not fixed...it depends on the workload...
Last year I had joined CL test series and it was really very useful...got 91% so wanna give a try again n crack it and I m very much sure that with such immense help...we all will be able to help each other to crack the CAT...so guys guys lets continue with this spirit n let crack it this year itself...
