[2003] MDI Interviews

Buddy,

the bangalore round is over. it ended on 27th. I dunno if any other city is left. What i expect is that they will be coming with the results soon types i.e. by end of next week if all the interviews are over.

And it is true that average salaries are farce and that stands for all the institutes,,, So lets see !!!

GD - newspaper clipping from a Pakistani daily on Pakistan being given the non NATO ally status.

reading time: 5mins + 10 mins discussion + 1 minute summing up by each person + each person must give written summary.

interview: for most ppl it was for 10-20 mins. For me and a few others, just 5 minute interview.

Qns: Introduce urself.
How is technopark doing these days?
What is the turnover of ur company?
What is the profit?
How will ur technical knowledge be of use when u go for an MBA?

What are the three most important things required for a good public speaker? (I had mentioned that I used to take public speaking classes)

Any other calls? - I mentioned IIMC.
Which would u choose MDI or IIMC? - I said IIMC ;o)

My Profile:
B.Tech : 72% (upto 3rd yr) ie i have the disadvantage of being a fresher.
12th : 89.9%
10th : 92%
Cat percentile: 99.28% ( 97.14/97.45/97.6 respectively in DI/QA/EU-RC)
I have calls frm IIMC and IIML. Other than that i have my GD/PI of MDI on the 27th. any tips frmthe gurus???????
I ahve been continuously asked about my choice b/w MDI and IIML. Obviously its IIML and i really want the brand name. I really slogged for JEE but cudnt make it to the IITs and now i really...desperately want to make it to the IIMs. Its too imprtant for me.......
but how do i say that to the MDI panel?
Also, ne idea when does NITIE send the calls?
