i dont know why am i dragged into this controversy, even if this is advertisement, i am neither a party to it nor any beneficiary. i donot know those guys at all . i have seriously found NIA attracive therefore have applied for it . that is all.

I don't know what this controversy is all about.. I only know tat i am not a part of it. I searched for NIA SOM and got this thread as a search result so just went ahead looking for some information.
Well if the controversy is about IP address i think that these peoples at NIA SOM is using a central proxy server due to which all the posts appear from the same IP. Well PG is not very popular at my institute (uptill few days back i was the only Pagal here but now i am better networked) otherwise we use a central proxy server with more than 3000 nodes connected to that server. Now all the 10 odd Pagals here, who obviously use different machines would have the same IP address in their posts.
Neways i just wanted to clear some air about the IP address thing. rest, i don't know much about the NIA SOM and the advertising students.

I think that these NIASOM guyz are busy and they can't really reply your post in time. I too needed some information about this institute but nobody seems to be attending the posts. I have also applied to NIASOM and my percentile is 92.26. I sent the application somewhere around 12th Jan and i haven't recieved any sort of acknowledgement. Definitely a cause of worry...
Newayz.. just wanted to know that when did you send your application? And did you download it from the website? Did you send it by some courier?? Coz for Courier and Speed post, you can track their status from the respective websites.
Okay i will try to find some more info about NIA SOM and will update you as soon as possible.

They have just 30 seats. Taking into consideration 1:10 calls ratio, they might send out calls for like 300-350 persons. another factor is that it is relatively unknown institute so you can expect a call around 80%ile overall.. Nobody can be sure of anything till the calls are out but, i hope that Anyone having something around 80 percentile can expect a call.
