Hi friends..
today i downloaded the application form and made the DD of Rs. 1000/- in the favour of NAtional Insurance Academy. However in the form it shows that it's for the admission session 2004. i wonder that why they haven't updated the website? anyways i just want to know that where can i get the admission advertisement of NIA?? So that i can confirm the things.

Nice to hear that u hav made up ur mind to fill NIA-SOM's form....reagarding ur queri about addmission session written 2004, its just a mistake. NIA is accepting only 2005 CAT Score...regarding advertisment it has reguraly come in Advance edge magazine of IMS coaching centre. It has also come in January issue of Advance edge with modified date, It has come in Frontline magazine of Hindu group dated 17th December.. add has also come in economic times in november..dont worry ....u feel free to contact me in case of any other problem. | | | | | | | |

Hey guys after listening about NATIONAL INSURANCE ACADEMY, Pune...I decided to visit it as I stay in Pune. I was mesmerized to know that this place is among the best place in world to gather Insurance education. I was surprised that how i didnt know abt it EVEN THOUGH I stay in pune. The academy keeps a very low profile. I was amazed to see the infrastructure and I dont thing that I will be wrong if I compaire it with the IIMs. I have been to IIM Kozhi, IIM Ahemd.The auditorium was particulraly eye catching, the campus has amazing facilities. I visited the MBA hostels it was like resort Broadband internet connection everything was in the student room. Library is simply unbelivable. Each and evry book can be accssed thru intra net. I had an opportunity to interact with fw students and all of them hav been placed.
I hav got only 74.79 %le and MBA students tht I stand a very fair chance as last year a few students were selected on 70%le and above, and further academy plans to give call for GD/PI to a lot of students this year. I must tell u, u must see this insti. to beleive me....bye | | | | | | | |

NIA is organising a seminar in taj president mumbai on 9-10th feb called "insurance summit 2006".
currently a two day wireless technology and mobile computing seminar is going on here, in which speakers from IIT kgp, and IITM are preseting apart from "microsoft, hp, avya gloal connect and d-link are presenting whitepapers and demo.

NIA Provides a good hostel facility to all the NIA SOM students,hostel are one of the best with 24 hr Broad band internet Connectivity,Telephone in each room,attached bath,in short its best hostel as compared to any B School,as far as bank loan is concerned NIA is having a tie up with all banks,so loan is not at all a problem ,as far as GD PI is concerned it will more be on strategic issues related to business and interview will be based more on academics,fees is 2.5 lacs per annum which includes tution fees,books,accomodation,fooding and lodging,foreign industrial visit | | | | | | | |

hey guys even i think NIA is in vogue . i dont know why NIA has become the hot topic on this site but as far as i am concerned i have seen the academy and it is awesome . it has everything that is needed to make a good b schhol and institution.i have applied for Nia today and will consider myself lucky if i get through becase i only have about 75 percentile.
