can you tell me what is the course fee.is there only pi or gd is also there.actually i have not received the call letter yet but they have informed me by telephone.should i go or not.please tell me.

This time only PI is there, no GD is there. I cannot specify how many students have been selected till now.

Yes the second shotlist is out. Those students who have applied for NIASOM (who have got less then 60 % in graduation and above 70%le in CAT ) kindly confirm from MBA department as soon as possible whether there name is there or not???Second round will take place arnd 9th 10th of march.

i had my interview on 25th at pune.
i was scheduled at 2.00pm but reached there around 11.00am thanks to the morning flight from delhi.
after a looooooooooong wait my turn finally came. the panel had 4 persons and they made me feel very comfortable. they asked my to introduce myself and why you want to join the specialised field of insurance. then something about hobbies- wht kind of paintings? which is ur favourite painter? painetr from punjab etcetc and then they asked me to draw the best part of the campus (something i liked) thankfully i escaped from getting into it.
something about my family background.
also since i am an engineer asked about my favourite subject luckily they did not know nething about it. then what is finance? diff between finance and money? why is finance important? define GDP and GNP.
i believe they were checking your confidence levels.
finally they told me that we are selecting you and you can pay the fees provided you select us
could not believ it
i deposited the money but might take a refund within the stipulated 15 days provided i dont get thru nIRMA.
just be yourself as they are rejecting quite a lot many students. also keep ur confidence levels high and better if u knw somewat abt the insurance companies. not much just the general layman level things.

I wanna give answers to question put up by few friends. Average salary of NIASOM ? The package offered to students here have been in range of 3.5 laks to 4.5 laks... so u can say average salary is arnd 4 laks.....and abt low cut off. This time NIA cut off is low bcoz NIA wanted to interview many students bcoz sometimes good students can also get low percentile...but consider yourself lucky bcoz that cut off is going to shoot up every year. So just waite for the next year and you will get the answer.
