ubs result out!!!!!!!!!!

hey all the gurus plz tell more about the hostel option is it good or bad . and is ubs having a personal hostel for its students or the common punjab university hostel is there. and also about other paying guest options.

hey guys, when r the final results expected? if any body frm chandigarh can go to ubs and enquire about the results ?that would be really helpful!!!!

i had gone to c the hostels and they are common with the other progs of punjab univ...also decent rooms..hope answered ur query

hey thanx can u tell me something more like because of a common hostel is there ragging or something like that and can you tell me about near buy areas where i can find paying guest option if i get into ubs. thanxxx a lot.

i m just back from ubs,chandugarh and i must say pretty impressed with faculty and info regading placements and highest alumni base. ...u must be wondering as to how do i have info regarding faculty,,,i have a lot of friends fromn that school....abt the results expected by 20 march and counselling to start from mid april...

hi boss,

if u wanaa really enjoy doing ur mba then better take a hostel in the university itself and yes its being shared by allother prgrame people and not just confined to ubs....room...i stayed there for a couple of nites with them in the hostel itself....the rooms are ok..not too goodlooking......but mangable..... and umhhhhhh crowd is good . i already interacted with a lot of seniors and they are quite helpful.. and thats what i loved the most..

guess its a university to thodi bahut to hogi yaar..(just be a sport yaar..dis time wont come again)..there is separate hostel for girls and diffrent for boyz..3 for each and any more info u can revert back to me..

i second that....first day when i went there..a day b4 interview..i wasnt too impressed but after interacting with seniors...am happy...just waiting fr the results

Hi Qwertyuiop and other aspirants to UBS and other institutes

Good to learn that you were pretty impressed on UBS after interacting with seniors. I am also eagerly waiting for the results. I got selected in Fore, but I feel the institution is too costly and not that much popular despite being located in Delhi. I already chucked out LBSIM which is a much decent institute. Witlisted in IMI (55) and Tapmi (no order of merit). Attended GD / PI in Nirma,XIME and IFMR. Will be attending GIM tomorrow, NMIMS on 12th and KJS on 13th. BIM and Loyola may be later. I feel UBS is one of the better choices in term of reputation and cost of education. I have done well in GD/PI and my CAT score is 95.48. According to you what are my chances pal? If I manage to get the final call in UBS, I can very well remit the fees and wiait for my chances in NMIMS, Tapmi and IMI, only three options which I feel is better than UBS. Would love to hear UR views mate. BTW when are the results likely? Somebody mentioned 14-15 and somebody else mentioned 20th. If the results are out and I manage to squeeze in, I will be pretty relieved. Preparing for the exams, then writing the exams every sunday for about 10 weeks and then attending all these GD/.PI calls in different locations are quite taxing pal. It will be a great relief if we can select an institution, remit the fees and settle down!

hi there,

yes even i believe that last day for interview is either over or just abt to be over..as it is interview strtd on 10th febr and taking 40 days each aspirants goes thru the gruelling process of interview and abt 880 students shortlisted it wud have taken 22 days for the process to be over..so i guess it mite be this wekend that intervies mite finly come to an end( taking sundays and other national holidays as days when interviews wud have not taken place)

abt the results they will be out by 20 the march 2005.. and even i m eagerly waiting for the results and from the day i have seen ubs i just cant sleep and even if i sleep i just dream of being there..i felt as if i belong there..so see u there
