What I came to know abt the GI from SPJain people, the best strategy is 'to be ourselves!'...didnt elaborate much on this...

Work ex related Qs, the essays etc....wud be cross examined...!

Awaiting more from on this topic from the SPJain alumni...

Hi Call getters from Spj,

Well i was pleasantly surprised to know that my interview date is on 15th Jan, inspite of me not indicating my preferences....that puts me in a tight spot coz i have fms on 16th Jan......can anyone tell me if the same applies for others also who have not indicated their preferences????

Also since i m a second timer at the intvw ( had a call two yrs back as a fresher n didnt convert) the intvw starts as follows:

1) Introduce yourself Mr. XYZ

2) Why your choice of specialization?

3) More questions on the specialization...i was asked to market myself coz of my obvious choice of mkting.....

4) questions on hobbies n interests...and cross chking the answers written in the non - omr form (thats when i learnt that it wud be prudent to xerox the non - omr form next time i apply to any place.....and not guess ur answers in the intvw )

5) and then there wud be questions to other ppl in group n u cud be asked to put forth ur view....

there r 2 rounds of intvw....elimination at 1 st stage....

in the second round Q's are pretty much the same....and topics cud vary....like a guy in our group as asked bout the recipe for Aloo Parathas .....

so its not the typical stress intvw....take it easy....but dont cook up flowery answers.....

after the second round(no elimination for this) there is a psychometric test of 1 hr (i guess)....

thats my story....

waiting to hear other xperinces....

When in doubt turn right
