Dear Rajpal Lipika,
Sub: Offer of Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
We are pleased to offer you admission to our Two-Year Post Graduate Diploma in
Management - specialisation in Finance Management. Congratulations on your
selection as a participant to SPJIMR's Class of 2007.
This offer of admission shall be valid only on our receiving email / telegram /
letter / fax of acceptance from you within 48 hours of this mail, failing which
it will be deemed to have lapsed and the Institute has the right to withdraw the
offer. (A copy of this email along with all attachments mentioned therein is
being couriered to you).
On your acceptance of our offer, you are required to deposit a total amount of
Rs. 1,75,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Seventy Five Thousand only) towards the fees for
the first year. The amount should be recieved by us no later than 4.00 p.m. on
Thursday, April 7, 2005, in the form of a demand draft favouring "S. P. Jain
Institute of Management & Research", payable at Mumbai. The draft must be
accompanied by a signed letter of acceptance and the Profile Data Sheet, duly
filled in, copies of which are being couriered to you. Please note that the
acceptance letter once signed by you will have binding effect. The detailed
breakup of the first year fees and the tentative second year fees are provided
in Annexure 1 (being couriered to you).
Should you decide to withdraw your acceptance, the Institute will deduct
retention fees out of the total amount deposited by you as per the table
provided in Annexure 1. Please note that the dates mentioned in Annexure 1
refers to the date of receipt of the requests for withdrawal by us and no
exceptions will be made under any circumstances. No refund claims will be
entertained after the last date stated in Annexure 1.
SPJIMR requires that every student MUST have a laptop computer. Information
about the configuration and other details is provided in Annexure 2 (being
couriered to you). At the end of the programme, laptop, books and publications
will be the property of the students.
The programme will commence on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at 9 a.m. You must
register yourself as a participant of the Class of 2007 at the SPJIMR campus at
the appointed hour failing which your acceptance shall be deemed to have been
withdrawn. You are required to produce to us at the time of registration
originals and attested true copies of all documents / certificates /
testimonials / work experience certificates as mentioned in Annexure - 3.
Failure to produce the same or any discrepancy between the original documents
and the information furnished to us in your application form shall be construed
as a misstatement of facts and will render the offer of admission invalid.
Your admission is subject to your acceptance of and compliance with the
existing/future conduct and disciplinary rules and regulations of SPJIMR /
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - Annexure 5 (being couriered to you).
We will despatch to you by 1st week of May, 2005, all the reading materials
required for the Pre-Foundation part of the PGDM Programme. You will be tested
on your understanding and mastery of the contents and it is mandatory to pass
the Pre-Foundation test to be allowed to participate in the First Trimester
classes.
