i wonder what type of profiling they are doing which is taking so long.....
they have had the data abt the students for 6 months now and the gd/ pi marks for quite some time also.
i really dont think that they would go thru each and every application manually and decide whether to take or not
whatever the procedure this beats all the waits i have ever had.....

sorry it should be 3 months

how many final calls do u guys think they ll send?

One more query : Is there only 1 final list or do we have a separate waitlist which is released sometimes later?

any ideas?

last year i think they had some wait list but this was not big....but my gut feeling says the calls wud increase since there would be many overlaps....(this would depend on the profile of people selected/called) also all colleges would be declaring the results in another months time...
I have heard that they might increase seats...not sure though....probabl neo or jovial can confirm...

i think the no of seats would be 200 around as they had a batch of 48 for IM last year.going by that estimate it would be around 200 for the 4 specializations...
lets hope they are planning to increase the no of seats drastically and hence the delay in the results

Txs belldecat444.

finally someone took care to release an official note... probably we can xpect the results within 2-3 days now...

It seems they r done with the filtering process. The only thing that remains is to update the DB servers & run the mailer batch program.
