Well, i myself has 2.5 yr exp & am leading a team of 4 for the past one yr in a BIG IT comp [i hope 10,000+ employee comp is a big enuf comp

] & i have written the same in my form. The GI-1 panel did ask me few Qs abt my JOB & the type of work i do (& i covered it nicely). I hope if ur not a lead u won't know many IT processes that are followed in IT companies. To name a few, a team member won't know the yearly revenues from the project, the per person rates charged, what are SLAs of the project, wht are the various Quality measures, etc...
Moreover, i feel it does not matter whether ur a lead or not until n unless u can convince them tht u r a lead & also know what being a lead means. What matters more is are u aware wht a lead is supposed to do & the probable challenges/brickbats (there was a Q on this in the form) that a lead has to face.
i'm just worried abt my GI-2 ... they asked me only 2 Qs in GI2...
1. Mr Brigadier: Talk abt the answer u have written abt work n values... i messed it up saying 'do u mean the work i do with an NGO'... he said Yes.. & than no more Qs till the end of interview..[in retrsospect i feel luck bcoz the army man kept nodding his head without asking any further Qs

2. Prof Mohan: Given a wish, what wud wud it be... Me: Blah Blah Blah [the answer i have written for Q2]
Thts it...
