For Freshers:

If u have opted for finance or marketing as ur specialization then great. keep ur fingers crossed.

Else if for operations or IM, then some miracle can only put u in. Miracle means a great profile .. topper throughout ur studies, tonnes of extra curri and a terrific interview

I don't want to discourage but that the way it works. For SPJ more than CAT score, profile matters a lot. Times are there when CAT percentile as low as 85 have been roped in, but just because they have terrific profile (SAP consultant) ... this strategy actually works for SPJ .. (FYI: that person turned out to be highest salary grosser in our batch

For work ex:

If u've done decently well in interview (with decent profile) and applied for IM or Ops ... then get ready with a BOOZE .

And when are the final results expected to be out. I already have a call from MDI and have to pay then 20000 by 31st March. Will the SP results be out before that?

I'm sure by 31st march SPJ results will be out. Look all the process is over. It is just that they have to finalize the calls. So maximum a week or two. Btw my guess is as good as urs. But I guess by 31st march IIMs will also be done with their results.

this reminds me... i was nt asked to take the online test either.. only the MAT . in fact nobody in my batch was asked to take it. what does that mean? any clue?

no need to worry about the online test...it is not at an elimination criteria...we have discussed a lot on this....

Hi, when u said we can expect the results anytime now..did u mean it in general as in the whole junta is waiting..or do u know that it'll be out anytime now, like by today or tomorrow...just wanted to know..
after the XAT results, this is the most awaited one !!
