Though i cant point ne -ve points in the guy who got kicked out..he was more silent of the lot and looked a but nervous....(but cant justify any specific reason).....main reason for having the GD was (as i percieve) that all of us coped up well with the first set of questions....

There are no specific preparations that u can make for the 2nd round...this may sound cliched ...but 'BE URSELF'.......thats the only thing that might save you....they are only trying to guage ur personality...and they are very good at it....they DO NOT expect a particular kind of personality from a candidate...they are only trying to find if u suit thier reqmnts...

in fact ..i said i was not aware of NIFTY,SENSEX etc...and was only conversant with basix of brokerage...i said i was in no position to find reasons for the crash in sensex etc....

Thanx VJ. All the best for the results. As far as I know 26th Feb is the last dat for the interviews. So result can well be out after that.

One more question. I am not that much aware of contents of a psychometric test . Can you (or anyone) throw some light on it.

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Hi folks! Finally back in action...... was hoping to see more interview experiences posted here. A coupla ppl who study with me are done with their interviews..... heard the q's in the first round were pretty general....... about the day's top stories, need for corporate governance, hobbies etc.
One of them's a fresher..... he said that he was put in a group where the avg work-ex was 2.5 years..... seems he did feel a bit left out, esp as the other folks were questioned extensively about their job profile, responsibilities and so on. He made it to the second round though..... the next round had q's like which bird do you identify yourselves with, and value related stuff.
I've got a query ppl....... doesn't it put a fresher at a severe disadvantage if he/she's in a group of workin ppl??? Or do the final results show that it doesn't count much? I worked in a BPO for close to 5 months ...... so I don't think that amounts to significant work ex. Would like to hear from someone on this.
Thanks and ciao!
