Hey do u have any idea when they are gonna declare the next list .. after april or before that !!!1

Neway I strongly believe this list can't be the last one. they have send out abt 190 calls. For at least 150 seats (there is rumour they are gonna increase their intake this yr )... So they must declare a waiting list or something. But it can well happen after the IIM results...

Bottomline, for all the broken hearts, lets not bank on another list and gear up for something else, something new.. may be cat next yr.. for me its gonna be GMAT quest now (think getting too old for CAT with 3yrs work ex already)

I think now all activity will happen if IIM call-getters opt to drop out of the merit lists or if lot of ppl don't send acceptance letters to SPJ. Around mid-April, I assume. Basically, IIM results have to come before any action begins.

ya u r rght ..i guess.. i can only hope most people with SP admits get IIM calls best of luck to all

i called SP & the person told me that they don't expect a lot of drop outs. Also he was not sure when the next list wud come & thinks that it wud b only after 7th aptil deadline.

already 70% result is out... probably another 20-25 calls wud b made in IM... no more hopes from SP...

what does this mean.....i didnot get please elaborate are they planning for an increase in intake for im or what....i know i don't have much chance but just trying to see if there is still something left for me in it......ashish please reply yaar asap....

firstly if IIMs declar their result by april 7th then there will be many drop outs but if it does'nt then the list will be small and another list will be declared much later ...what say guys ??? also ajain what happened with the 1yr course , as far as i know u have got a call for that rght !!!

no yaar no call....they had sent me an application form long time back didnot apply beccause i was more inclined towards the 2 yr course...but now not much option left so going to fill that form.....i just hope the 2 yr wala result doesnot cast a shadow on that as well....

i agree that the list will come after iim...but when ashish mentioned that another 20-25 calls for im that i didnot understand because i am sure 20-25 people wud never drop out....so what does he imply by that stmt was what i wanted to know....ashish if u can please throw some light on this..

i mean tht i beleive tht since the seats are incresed from 150 to ~190, the total calls shud be more than calls given last yr. Somone told me tht last yr they gave more than 300 calls for 150 seats... so hopefully another list of ~100 shud b coming (arnd 7th april). & my guess is tht arnd 1/4th of these seats wud b for IM.

This is all speculation.

Anyway if i'm not in the first 190 calls (basically 54 IM calls), i don't want to fool myself by thinking tht i wud b in the next list.

oh i thought u had something concrete info...anyways me also thinking on same line as u....if in first 54 i donot find a mention chances of getting a look in another 25 is as remote as it can get....
plus we still donot know for sure if the seats are increased its just a rumour and we better treat it that way...otherwise we wud start having false hopes....

Yaar institutes dont generally wait for IIMs to declare their result for declaring the waiting lisyt. After all its a waiting list and every person has a waiting status, so no one can achieve anything by waiting for the results.. but then i talked to few ppal and they said we might have to wait for IIM results..

by the way sooner or later waiting list will definitely come. so hope for the best..
