Hi Pal,
I am assuming you have opted for IM
This is not to dishearten you, but then if you have seen the profiles of those who have got thru they have around 3+ years of work ex, I have 1.5 years only, so our chances do seem bleak. Anyway hoping for the best

Well me also in similar dilemma
I have decided to send the 25k by Friday
Got no other way, never know when the second list comes out and
also how many names are going to come in it .......

What about you dude ?


Also I called SP guys and they say "the second list should be ready by tommorow"

Hi,

Aarthi, even I feel the same, that they want to go for only lateral placements
in IM, that may be the reason behind your observation

But again they need to keep a balance, and have an optimal mix,so I believe
that they will also take guys with 1-2 years exp( like me , you and many others)

So do not loose hopes, lets wait for the 2nd list

friend don't use abusive language yaar...even me angry with them but no point in using foul language....

wrt to ur chance... ur guess is as good as mine....we wud never know what ur chances are....because of the subjectiveness of the process....so i wud suggest if u r desperate to do mgmt than go ahead and book ur seat in tapmi......plus u didnot specify which special u selected not that we wud have been able to give u any answer....
but 21st is also a good 6 days away so i think sp will come out with one mor elist before that...thats what they have been saying....so u can wait 2-3 days more...if u wish

aarthi don't know what to say because i have not made it thru...with my 4.5 yrs work ex as of dec 2004....looks like i was a complete misfit for sp.....

well i think its a very gud observation........probabaly ppl in the first list in IM have a work ex of 3+ yrs and maybe in their second list they may have ppl in 1-3 yrs work ex range

someone posted earlier that he had less than 2 year work ex and he made it thru for im....so we wud not be able to generalize....anyways i hope there is not generalization in this list which wud give all of us some hope....

Ok People the only way specualtions are helping us is to pass some time till tomorrow... Its not helping in any other way... So another 24 hours of waiting...

I think i am going to send my 25 K too.....

Mine is 1.5yrs in Engg mkt firm

Definitely desperate to get into mba..but again now i remember "hard earned money" uh uh!!! no fun!! just drain it.....

these mba institutes are business houses ...really!!

its going to be a cascading effect after IIM confirmations
