Hi Guys..

Last year I had lone call from IIM-I. There they grilled me for full 45 mins on questions on chem engg. (My BTech). No questions what so ever from my 2 yrs of IT experience (seems they saw too many IT guys that time around)

Anyway its has been one of the worst nightmares. So please let me know is there any chance SPJ guys are waiting to do the same to me this year.

I have my interview on 6th Feb 2:00 pm. Anyone for the same slot ?

I have also got the same date but 11:30 slot , as far I know they don't drill you on your b'teck but they will ask u more about recent work.

The following text is pasted from a financial express article posted on this thread..

1. The panel asks candidates to articulate on an issue. “Even as the candidates are narrating a certain experience, the interviewers can abruptly ask them to halt and ask any of the other candidates to take off from where the present candidate left.”

2. Finally all the candidates are asked to give an opinion on the best performing participant within their own group. “Their collective opinion is further revalidated with the observations that the panel has collectively embarked upon,” explains Prof Shriram.

Any experiences of the kind 1 or 2 above? If they indeed ask us who was the best, is there any strategy for the same ? (like make a bond outside only that we will call each other best )

Any suggesions please ..

Hi Frnds,
just let me know that last shortlist list for SPJAIN includes the list of all candidates who have been shortlisted or just those guys who didn't get call in prior list.
Actually, I cudn't check the earlier list and my name is not there is the last list.
I believe that i shd get the call frm SPJAIN as got 89.7 percentile in CAT and have 3.5 years of workex.
frnds....ne pointers wud be beneficial.

I also have the interview scheduled for IM on Feb 26th - 11:30 am. I have a very low cat score of 92.3 and very uneven splits (98.5 in Qt). I read in some threads that SP needs a 93+ for IMs for the final calls.
So any Sp jain guyz can you tell me, if I stand a chance?

I don't see how you can say you "should" get the call, pal. Check out other SPJ threads and let us know if you still feel the same. You will be surprised to see what ppl have missed calls.

I think all candidates who got shortlisted(first list and second list) will see their names in the SPJ list now.

Hey guyz, for some of the extra curriculars, I don't have certificates. When will the certificates checking be done? B4 the GI starts or even while during it? And what other stuff do we need to carry to the Gi - do we need to take a resume?
