IMI's shortlist for GD/PI is out at the Institute's Notice Board.
They have yet to put it on their site www.imi.edu. No minimum cut-off is known. But Students with score above 91%ile (overall) can expect a call...there is no sectional cut-off...
ATB 2 everyybody who have applied..

this time IMI has called around 1100 people for the gd/pi....never before this many were called ....

the results are still not uploaded on the website..will be there asap....as is always results are out in the notice board before being there on the website...so please have some paitence...meanwhile if u want we can check it from the notice board, pm ur name and cat regd no. to me or sajal or any of the pagals in IMI...but wait for the response as our end terms are on, therefor the reply may take time.

and also tomorrow will check with the admin dept..and inform u when it'll be available in the website..and when will u get the snail mail..cofirming the result and informing about the gd/pi dates...

As far as the IMI shortlisting is concerned,in my personal opinion it is not fair coz they r shortlisting just on the basis of the overall percentile whereas in the CAT exam it is clearly mentioned that one must demonstrate competency across all the sections.So it may happen that a person may have a better overall percentile but not necessarily even scores in all the sections.And after reading this much....yeah....u have guessed correctly,mine is a case of sour grapes.Won't get a call if cutoffs are at 91percentile....am having only 86.73

as for cutoff, its arnd 86 %ile. No idea yet on sectional cutoff

we don't have idea abt the sectionals till yet...yes we the students too wanted a sectional cut-offs this time and it was the indication before the results came out...but as of now we don't have any idea about the sectionals...also this time the no. of calls given out has really baffled everybody out here...generally 600-800 calls are given...this time the figure is nearly 1200...therefore the cutoffs have falen to around 86...as of now we don't know about the average cutoffs but if the present two batches are seen the average percentile is nearly 95.....

with ur percentile i think with the lower percentiles called this year...most probably u'll be through

about my gd exeperience yeah will share with you as will other pagals in IMI...but plz give us time till 5th as our end terms are going on....

I Guess the IMI management is apprehensive of attracting the required number of students for final selection thats y playing safe
Is it some kind of indication that the standards of IMI r falling
Coz calling more students for interview means lowering Cutoff speaks for itself
also have seen ur post regarding the list out yesterday
and have seen just 1-2 ppl inquiring abt it
mebbe that tells the story
