Hahahahaha,
Very nice thread to start....After reading many 99%les and many arguments regarding the transparency of IIMs giving calls, this thread is just a relief....where ppl are not at all bothered about their overall scores and calls.....

Breaking news a guy with 88 percentile and no work experience has two calls Cal and Khozikhode and a guy with 100 percentile has not received a call from IIML

Well, that 88 guy will be from reserved category.

100 percentiler and not getting L?
With the ways IIMs issue calls, I wouldn't be a bit surprised with 100 percentiler in all sections also missing a call.

Weird doubt I got here...The CAT scoercard states,I quote,"the "% SCORE" represents the score obtained by the candidate as a percentage of the highest score obtained in that section",...
.....so what if someone gets a negative score than what does his %score become?Or does it come 'does not exist!'
A female who gotta score of zero in math got 16%ile.

However,I would like to add that a low score does not in anyway make such a person any less than someone with a 99%+....just that CAT is weird.

My %ile is 89.6 &amp; I got 26.7% score (net).. Being the 1st timer I am happy.

anothr perspective on this thread is wat rank each %ile converts into...
considering top 10,000 ranks make it to the next stage of the best schools...
e.g. my %ile is 72.68, which is a rank of 43,712... out of 1,60,000...
