Expected Date of Cat Results

i Bet result with in this week, i am sure before christmas.
as i remember reading in cat boklets
i think they will declare results on friday to avoid rush of phone calls to different institutes

Thanks Sashi for the post.
I dont understand why do these IIM ppl do such stuff. They are supposed to be teaching management to us, which also involves an estimation of the activities. And they themselves are not able to estimate the time, they will take to come up with calls. According to the brochure, even IIM I was supposed to come out with the results by 2nd/3rd week of december. And though the 3rd week of december is over,the results are not yet out. Infact I am not even able to connect to their server since last four-five days.

Further even the websites of these institutes are not updated. On lucknow's site there is still a page which says, keep checking this page for resutls of CAT-2003.

Wow!! What better management can we expect from the leading insitutes of management.

p.s. IIM students, particularly L, who are part of PG, what do u have to stay about such websites, which i guess are updated once in a year??? Please dont mind my tone. No offences meant. Just wanted to bring this issue to you notice, so that you can informed the concerned person about it.

This is quite bad . They shouldn't mention dates in the CAT Bulletin if they can't stick to it.

The results would normally be out in a span of 2/3 days. My guess is they try to release it at the same time, but it could get delayed for technical reasons... considering the fact that these sites dont get updated often. I say this coz all the final admission calls were released in a single day last time.. that too within hours' differences.

While I understand ur expectations (been there, done that! ), all I can say is try and freaak out now... ! All the best!

This is one good thing about the IIT's.
They mention the day and time when the JEE or GATE results will be out ... and they are never late.

Perhaps, IIMs can learn some kind of management from IITs
