u picked this thread jus to ask this question , well at some time i wil definitely tell u guys "SURESHOT WAY TO LOOSE 100 perc." he he . jus kiddin but yaa i know a thousand things which u dont need to do if u wanna become one.

Another of those marketing strategies - when some doubt has been raised abt a well established product , better help in more doubts so that the product can really 'fake' out . or to say simply - no half hearted attempt is good enuf either in above case or in getting 100 perc.

Tell me,is pendyal topping in IIM-A too? Im facinated abpout this guy I thought he would have an achilles heel @ Gk in XAT..but he got 99 I think even in that! I think even tho he is a commerce grad(like moi) im sure he could have got #1 even in IIT JEE!!

Well just read all the posts here.
I have given CAT for the third time and my views are same to what someone mentioned before. Its how well you are conditioned to solve a system which is what CAT is. Either you are conditioned for it over the years or you develop it through dedicated efforts. Now what would seperate toppers from mediocres requires some psychoanalysis. What termi wants to know is what qualitites. Its like human mind functions from beliefs and tries to chase what it believes it can. Its chase when given a head start(beginner's luck) gives him a level of confidence , yes i can whereas slow starters would first have to come out of the loop of self doubt. Now amongst those who are head starters ones who set their goals high and are commited to their goals, (now everybody is ..what is the seperator) again belief of having done in the past , a feeling of pain for the failure and never falling down their own standards and likes. Other thing which I have always observed is toppers usually are not the jealous types but the altruistic types. some how they end up gathering blessings from everyone. The jealous, hot headed, and the arrogant ones some how fall down the barrel some where even if they do achieve the desired results.
The other thing which i feel and what quintessence pointed out is that they are prepared for their destiny and as Paul Coeho said when one is willing to follow his dreams the whole world conspires with him to make him reach his destiny.

u may be surprised to hear tht Pendyal had a rank in top 30 in IIT, but went to commerce for medical reasons. He is not exactly topping here. But this is because he does not want to. He just sits in his room watches movies n do a lot of other stuff which most of us wud not even dare to think of.......

Hehehe ... good but futile discussion going on!! If you can conquer self doubt, cultivate the right attitude....the world is yours and you dont need to be a 100 percentiler anymore...and atleast based on my experience most if not all, 100 percentiler are perfectly normal beings who had cultivated some special skill sets and really had a good 2 hours no offence meant to geniuses like pendyal..but the day you start believing others are better than you, they actually become better than you Chakla Singh aka Vikas
