Moving On to GD/PIs - 22-11-2004, 01:04 PM

Hi Everyone.

Its time to move on. I know that its a little early for this. But the faster we occupy ourselves with the next milestone the sooner we'll get get away from pondering over what is over. Although knowing where one stands by a decent analysis is necessary, nothing we do now can change what is behind us. So get focussed for the next fight.
End of lecture.

We can start by reading the following link:
http://www.pagalguy.com/cat/viewtopic.php?t=800
Some precious gems of wisdom there.

Second, How about getting organized for the GD/PIs? Though this thread is for everyone to post their comments, its can be especially relevent to Bangalore Junta. Let's create a communication channel to prepare for the next stage.

I'll collate a list of everyone who is in Bangalore and who's interested in forming an informal group who'll stick together to prepare for cracking the next stage.

So start posting with your views and throw in your approx location in B'lore. I am keeping track!

Cheers,
Sharmili.

RC/VA did you in I guess, else your score would have been closer to 65+. Anyway, I'd say add 2 marks + the cutoffs stated by TIME and you have a fairly good idea as to what the actual cutoffs would be.

Plus the cutoffs are over-rated at times. IIMC tends to add up DI and QA scores for issuing calls. Each IIM has its own thing, so none of us can be too sure. Having said that - no harm in any GD/PI prep. The CAT results are just a month away and any prep would help, either for the IIMs or the other instt. you might have applied to

Chiclets,

Firstly, I don't think you have any reason to give up. That score may not get u thru the top iims (then again we don't kno!) but you can always prepare for the others.

But that's not the point with this. It is not our place right now to judge ourselves. Lets just move ahead!
What we'll do in the next couple of months will help us anyway right? if not now, next year. if not next year then in life.

So cheer up and join the club. I have your name in the list already ;-)

CHeers,
Sharmili

Me is in for it!! Have a score of about 53-55 with very bad QA. Not so sure of the IIMs though. Maybe this mite fetch the spjimr, mdi calls. But nevertheless, i guess the gd prep can't hurt.
