Well I've been there..seen that couple of years back. Had my share of disspointments & joys....thats all history now.

Just a quick advice to all you guys...CAT (and IIMs) are not the be-all & end all of your dreams. Except for the Lehmann Brothers & Mckinsey Consultings (which pick only 5-10 ppl every year) most good companies would also visit the XLRIs, XIMBs, IIFTs, FMS, IITs (and sometimes Symbi too). So prepare for all those tests. Each test is different & requires seperate strategy.

Thumbrules (must have learnt this by now)1)DON'T HAVE SET EXPECTATIONS..(you will only screw yourself)!
(2) TAKE YOUR COACHING CLASS ADVICE & MOCK TEST SCORES WITH A PINCH OF SALT.
(3) IN A ONE DAY MATCH, AGGRESIVE & CONFIDENT BATSMEN DO BETTER THAN TECHNICALLY SUPERB BUT INCONFIDENT ONES. SO HOLD YOUR NERVE!!!

All the best

The greatest patriotism of all, maybe the only patriotism there is, lies in the concern for people in & around us ...and not just raising the national flag, singing rousing songs or shouting exciting slogans
