Supervish,
Nothing happened man, just that we screwed our CAT! We had effectively used up those 20 mins, but they were unproductive, infact counter productive! I attempted the english section first, normally i would give 7 mins to one RC and try and attempt 45 in english in 40-42 mins as it used to be my strongest section. But on D-day, when I was in the middle of the first passage, those bas**** started singing and dancing, and I was completely lost, just couldn't concentrate, after bearing with it for sometime(20 mins) hoping it would subside(i didn't want to get distracted)i stood up and almost shouted at the examiner "What the hell is going on? Do u know what CAT means to us and how tough the exam is?? Please do something about this bullshit music!" That was suicide for me...the music stopped but i never regained my lost concentration for the rest of the exam! Where I invariably used to score 35-38 in english, i got a poor 23! And that was the end of it!
Don't worry about those things, u can't help if "bhagwan ne hi teri supari le li ho!" Just stay calm and hope for the best!
"Phaad dena CAT ka paper(not literally but logically!)
