Great Thread!! And what a pertinent question...

Last year, I had used Apsara Extra Dark Pencils for 2 reasons:

1. They were darker than regular HB
2. I took their tag line "extra dark for extra marks" a bit too seriously

Hey puys... All the best for tomorrow. Go,give it your best shot and I am sure puys will rock as always..

Just do not take tension of any kind. Even if you are not getting the answers of few initial attempts, do not loose ur calm..this is the key to crack CAT.Just sit back...take few deep breaths and you will start rocking.

Natraj is the best - not too dark nor too light. (IMHO)

BTW - I still had one IMS pencil from 2003 - for lucky charm's sake..the one which said - I + IMS = IIMs

5 attempts at CAT man. lost track of the number of pencils i used!

Do not use that pencil as it is extra dark and you might have trouble erasing the mark in case of a wrong answer.

use HB nataraj pencil, and apsara NON DUST/natraj eraser, and nataraj/apsara sharpneR..

IF U HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT, THEN U ARE SPECIAL..GO AND
give ur best shot!!!!! just read all the questions!!!!
