Which pencil to use??

use clutch pencils and half the time you are trying to get the damn lead out of the bore...
and carry three for each section(most probably 3 sec paper)
and dont use extra dark ones, if u rub and change answer the scanner might catch the previous mark..HB only!!!

since we are at the topic of pencils a small tip. use a lil bit (not very) blunt pencil rather than a very sharp one, u can shade quicker n darker. watever pencil u use preserve it after CAT. when u get a call ferom A it flaunt it as the most priced possession, lucky charm

wats wrong vth a clutch pencil? been usin it for the mock cats now n havent had ne probs vth them... can i expect ne kind of specific prob?

it really doesnt mean nething... as far as HB is concerned.. wat brand is ur pencil? i hav a feelin u r usin one of those US made pencils... those pencils generally r lighter on paper than the normal ones... neways if u cud lemme know the brand name i'll let u know..

Come on Guys, this is one of the silliest discussions i have seen on PG. Things like which brand of pencil u use doesnt affect what is ur %ile. Just take any brand of HB pencil and it should be fine. This is the time to concentrate on mocks and CAT itself, not things like pencils and erasers

I always use apsara platinum extra dark pencils. can I use the same? They are luckier for me.

while we are on this discussion;
there are 13 types of pencils, ranging from 6H (Hard) to 6B (Soft) and an HB forming the mean (just right); The 6H is used to sketch outlines whereas the 6B is used for shading...

I would rather use a HB with an eraser over the butt so that i dont have to hunt for one when i need it
