Number of mocks u have given till date and will give till D day

Hey guyz,
Wats the total number of mock u have given. Stalwarts, all of them post here. Also how much will u give in total. Uou can also give the number of mocks in each month if u remember ofcourse. Here is mine:

Number of mocks: 35
Will give : 3 more
Totally : 38

Sep 2003 : 1 (my first mock was sim - 1 in 2003)
July 2004 : 1
Aug 2004 : 9
sep 2004 : 11
Oct 2004 : 10
Nov 2004 : 7 (4 given, 3 more have to give)

How abt others and also u can add wat is ideal. I got my end sems goin on and tats the reason i havent given many in last 2 months. Also i know no number of mocks is ideal, as u learn frm every mock if u analyze properly but juz wanna know.

TIME-15
PT-5
IMS-2

So approximately 40-45....
will take another 2-3 tests at home and got one CL + one TIME mock left...tho still contemplating on whether or not taking the TIME mock wud be gud idea...

Actually have given the mocks of insts like this:

Time : 10
Ims act : 5
IMS mct *: 5
IMS fct *: 5
Simcat : 8 (includin one last year)
CAT 2k3(feb 15th) : 1
CF free test : 1
so totally 35
will give 3 more later

And don understand who is hell bent on giving me negatives every day like havin cup of tea. teh fact tat u can give more than one negative to a single person isnt helping matters any better. Sure its the same person, admins mods not fair i say.

Dubey, 17 more to give ??? You are doing a lot of hard work...
Anyway, here is my list..
CL Mocks - 11
TIME - 14
SIMCAT - 3(2 at home)
CL FLTs - around 15
Total - 43
I will just take 2 more mocks ....

I have given FLT 1-8 ... so 8 left. Add to this 7 IMS FCT's and the 2 mocks on Sunday.
I have 17 ... but i definitely won't give that many.

Hi all..

Let me try to answer.
It doesnt really matter how many mocks you take till date and how many more you will take as long as you have crossed a reasonable number. A better strategy would be to take mocks in such a way that you peak at nov 21 types. It is slightly difficult to achive, but possible.
Also dont try to take more than what you can chew. Ideal number is somewhere around 2-4 mocks per week. More than that, you will be deluged with information. But again it is my personal opinion.

Wokay ... now I'm trying not to get psyched out here. CAT is nice, but the IIMs have another criterion .. have to get a degree .. and with my sem7 exams clustered around the CAT, i'd better take care of em

Gave the 11 CL mocks, coupla IMS Sims. Some few of the CL FLTs, around 6 till now... maybe 2 or 3 to come ... from real CATs of the past.

All down to 120 minutes on THE Sunday. Agree with Chandoo ... number wont make a diff. I dont want to go high on mocks coz if they turn out to be stiff.. i might just lose the confi and enthu.

Considering the lack of CAT prep institutes in Israel, my mock CATs have been papers couriered over by my pals in India. The biggest disadvantage is that I cant get a comparative ranking.

So far, I've taken about 10 mocks (spaced 4 in Sep, 4 in Oct and 2 this month), and I think I will have time for 2 more - this weekend - before I leave for India on 19-Nov, will be reaching India late in the day of 19th and I dont see how I can fit in anymore before the D-day, so that makes a grand total of 12 mocks...not too many, but I am hoping it is not too less either.

Anyway, good luck to all of you (us) who are attempting CAT 2004.
