I think this is something you rather ask yourself than denim. I mean your response should be "This has been MY experience, Denim what was YOURS". It seems as if junta are just interested to know what is a cookie cutter solution/answer for that question is.
For me CAT has taught 4 lessons in life which I carry across to my workplace and in everything else I do. Infact I am planning to write another article on that
(1) Know thyself. I have always fought the "battle" against the test. For the first time I fought it against myself. This sentence would make little sense to anyone who has not taken CAT. But for those who are preping, Im sure they know what I mean by it. (esp when you are struggling to get those extra 2marks in QA :P)
(2) Passion. There is this energy that I have hardly felt for anything else in life. As the day approaches, you are consumed by this intangible force which governs each move you make. From the time you wake up to till you close your eyes, its the only thing that really matters.
(3) Friends. Some of the best friends I have made have been thru cat2k2 and pg forum. Its amazing how I meet someone from the forum for the first time and *immediately* we hit off as if there is some volatile chemistry between us.
(4) Soft-skills. Right from managing one of the first yahoogroups on CAT (cat2k2) as a moderator to writing on these forums, I have come a long way. Not just dealing with different types of people, but also making sure what I write and I what I mean actually map.
