CAT bulletin sample paper: Where the hell are the SITTERS??

hello guys!
hope the preparations goinon full steam ahead!
well i was browsing through the quants section of the CAT 2004 bulletin sample paper and this paper is supposed to be the CAT 2003 retest paper(as i have commonly heard)
and i was like- this paper is even harder than the IMS simcats. i mean in the quants section either the questions take a lot of time to comprehend or they are downright lengthy!
wat say u guys? u must have tried that paper? how did u find the quants section!

ya...it is CAT 2003 retest paper
Quant was tough by all means!!!! But ofcourse cutoffs were really low for quants
And I heard one guy scored 12 in quants and got IIMA final call!!!!

TIME dir told me 1 girl got 9 net in Qa and total of 36 and got IIM B !!

yup.....paper was tough, without shadow of dought. i also know a boy getting 11 and gitting call from iim L ......

if u see Q no. 51 , 53, 55, 56-58[very easy], 61, 65, 74, 75, 77,89, 92,93,96,97,98....can be easily done.

try it again and try to put value u"ll get the answer easily

impossible 36 wont even fetch lower b-grade school calls...........is it really true

I think that girl was from

1. SC
2.ST
3. Physically Handicapped

mah ST friend got 70 percentile and he got call 4rm IIML and IIMB =))

last year quanta was tough i know a girl she got call 4rm IIMA her score in quant was just 11

well as far as last yrs QA goes...%ile changed by a 10percentage points for evry mark. and the -ve marking was-1/3...i had 8.33 with 79% and ppl with 9-10 had calls if not final offers...just goes to show tht accuracy is paramount in these situations...

there were a minimum of 33 questions that could have been done effortlessly.Only thing is that the right questions should have been picked up.Anyway the paper compensated by having a very very easy english section and di section.And I wouldn't agree that quant was tough.It was a little tricky and required some smart working.thats all

the quant had atleast 14 easy questions....mind u iam not a quant studd.....iam very poor infact.....but i dont know if i would have spotted them in the actualy exam......

This is not possible.......a score of 36 and a call from B.....no way.....what u think guys....I agree quant cutoffs could have been low...but verbal is one section which kills majority of people.....do u mean to say....she got all the remaining in VA....a score of 46 looks little more real to get B call.....though i feel even this is low....unless that female has 7-10 years work ex
