HI evrybdy!

I JUS WANNA KNOW that is the level actual cat higher than the mocks? bcause, i find earlier years real cat papers easier than the mocks of cl!

Depends on Which Mock and which CAT you are talking about ???

CL MOCK 6 was easier than most of the recent CATs ...On the contrary, Mock 8 was not so...So, you know, it's better if you be more specific... :P :P Again, Mock 9 was also on a bid easier side, if not exactly same !!!

This is my analysis...! Purely opinionated !!

Others may differ while comparing the difficulty of the same mocks i mentioned.

hey anadi,
what kind a poll u have started...it makes no sense at all. u can clearly see the junta going for MDI and leaving others. institutes like SPJIMR, FMS, NITIE, XLRI, IIFT, etc. would have given MDI a fight..

neways.. abt the CL MOCKS..the standards are decent enough.. u can expect CAT paper on those lines... just be prepared for anything.. IMS SIMCATS are more on a tougher side..

i think we can compare mocks to actual cat only to a certain extent coz the paper which is tough for one might prove easy for some one else...so its all about the style of paper.....i.e wether the paper suits ur style...as it all depends on wt kind of weightage is given in the quant section to different topics...di is more of observation or calulation.....i dont think till now i hv done a language section which is similar to cat.

Yes in the last 4-5 years the level of CAT is definitely higher than CL MOOCK CATs on an average, but i will like to add that the level of CAT is definitely lower than this year's IMS SIM CATs, on an average.

umm..in my opnion CL mocks ( esp Eng and DI) are muchhh easier compared to actual CAT...just chk ofthe passages nad more often than not they are a cakewalk...ditto 4 DI. Logical std varies
though i guess maths is okay...
but well if u r consistently scoring atleast 65 or more then u'reon track

PT papers are not worth it ..wayyy tooo simple ..i agree tht IMS are on the tougher side ...try and get hold ofthe first IMS Mock..it was GOOD! ( meaning tuf but still fun)

I think CL mocks r far easier than actual CAT particularly Quant......i've joined PT test series, its level is good....particularly quant....its level is higher or eqlnt to CAt and RC/Verbal r easier than CAT.......and and DI LR r of CAT standards.....
and IMS papers, Verbal/RC r of good standard....right like CAT....and similarly rest of the sections r also fairly balanced.....
