yeah... i waas asking sth about demand draft..they said it will not be cashed immediately since some persons will take it back..they will refund the amount

Can you please help me understand what confirming a confirmation would work like ? It has been stressed that we have lives of our own, respect our time and definitely do not want to waste that on answering queries like these. Yes, you also need to know what a PM means. Go figure. btw are you guys sending out the the need based assistance form alongside or waiting till you get there for it? Also, the form says that this is application for financial assistance for 2010-2011. That means we can apply again next year if this year it doesn't get approved? I have a couple of interns from IIM-C in my office building and they had conflicting opinion on this.

I was thinking of getting a laptop beforehand cuz the bulk deal ones (I saw the lenovo of a frnd) I didn't like. Is it sensible or should I wait to see the bulk deal? I would be buying a Vaio this weekend. I am told that banks repay you if you show them the receipt.... I mean from the loan.

Try getting an attestation (as in seal + signature) from HR on a print out of this provisional letter...even better if its on company letter head.

Hi puys,

Please find below details sent to me by SBI Joka branch regarding loan.

Regarding the loan, we will be processing and sanctioning the loan within 2/3 days in the campus itself so you can very well apply after coming to the campus. Your father/mother will have to come with you and be the co-applicant for the loan. The documents that will be required for both of you are given below.

For you:

1. Class X, XII marksheets, graduation marksheets, certificate, CAT score card, IIMC offer/admission letter, receipt for the upfront fees paid by you, fee structure, 2 photographs, ID proof (which could be either of passport, PAN card, Voter ID) and address proof (which could be passport, electric bill/telephone bill in your father's name, live ration card)

For your dad/mom:

1. ID Proof
2. Address Proof
3. Bank statement - last 6 months
4. I.T. Return/Form 16 for the last two years
5. Last 3 months' salary slip
6. Statement of assets and liabilities
7. 2 photographs

If they are not salaried but businessman, then I.T. Return and P&L Account and Balance Sheet for last 3 years, if they are retired and receiving pension, then the bank account statement showing receipt of pension for last 1 year.


If they have no income, then the statement of assets and liabilities should be mandatorily given to us.

Other than this, you need not give any collateral security for this loan. We will give Rs.15 lacs maximum and the current interest rate is 10.25%.

Please bring the originals and a xerox each of all the documents mentioned above, without fail and you must bring your parent with you.
