I think tdubey should score somewhere around 110

Vikas ... that is sarcasm at its height. I am not scoring anywhere near that much.

Started with DI ... thought that it was not very easy ... but that was compensated by some very easy LR sets.
40 mins ... 31 attempts ... 29 correct ... 28.33

Next came English. I don't know what happened to me at this point of the test. I attempted only 19 questions in RC, and that too in 35 mins +.
50 mins ... 35 attempts ... 30 correct ... 28.33

Did quant for the last half an hour. Lots of sitters scattered everywhere.
25 attempts ... 23 correct ... 22.33

Total ... 91 attempts ... 82 correct ... 9 wrong ... score 79

My accuracy was better than ever ... but so few attempts.

I think the answer to q 42 that they have given is wrong.

I think the paper was okay ..My break up :

QA : 21 / 17 / 4 / 15.66
VA/RC : 37 / 24 / 13 / 19.66
DI : 30 / 26 / 4 / 24.66
Net : 88 / 67 / 21 / 60

40 minutes each ..Standard practice..Qa in 2 breaks..20 minutes each before and after RC

dude they first talk about the activities that sparked the attack i.e. abducation of 3 of the imp ppl of DHD....then they talk about the attack by the dimasas ....
so "retaliatory" seems to fill the blans perfectly well....
none of the other options seems to fit in...

Rohit ... which question are you talking about ? Q 42 in my paper is a quant question ... something about averages. I can't find abduction ... retaliation ... or anything of that sort in my paper.

Are you talking of Q 42 of the TIME paper ?

Overall a pretty standard paper.. was surprised by the newish layout of the paper.. ( they tried their best to replicate the actual CAT paper)..
My scores are as follows:

RU/RC: 37/25/21.00
DI: 32/26/24.00

Overall: 93/72/ 65.00

QA 19/14/5/12.75
DI 28/23/5/21.75
Net 84/62/22/56.25

I got completely screwd up the passage 4 in RC which made my net score in RC to
17/9/8/7...agony doesn't here... this is the score when I gave around 8-9 min per passage.....pls pls pls somebody tell me how to go about attemping RC section....or bluntly saying yaar RC main number kaise aata hai...
pls help me.
a) how much time(on an average) one shud give to one passage?
b) how to attempt a passage?
presently first i read the whole passage (4-5 min) then read questions, then some regression and then marking...the whole procedure takes 8-9 min...i don't think it shud take that long

c) how to increase number of attempts in DI?
presently i give 35- 40 min to DI and end up with following stats 28-30/23-25/5-6

eagerly waiting for ur suggestions and tips
