know the initial excitement of posting ur feeling a day b4 simcat has probably died by now, but i thought i shud continue the frenzy! havent performed up to potential in any of the sim cats, hope its not another one of those days tomm..

Hello people. Just took the Simcat 5. Felt CAT may be of the same standard. RC's were very lengthy and difficult. As usual i didn't do all tht well but, an improvement from my previous SIM. Getting around 40 with only 2.5 in RC

Hi guyz,
This was the worst performance evr by me in simcats. I dont know whether it was me who was bad or the paper. Anyhow wateva i choose was wrong. tats how it was. getting a measly 32.50. Definitely less 90 percentile. i donno wat to say. feels sick. Wat abt others

any guesses on what percentile this would fetch?

hello guys!
well i entered the forum yesterday. i just accidentally came across it!
meanwhile i took the simcat 5 today. well my performance was just ok types.
my biggest problems are in PS and DI sections. i never manage to attempt more than 25 questions in these sections combined. so thats where my chances of IIMs go down the drain. but with english im always in the 98+ bracket, so my overall percentiles speak yet another story.

but im still working hard and i think with 1 months practicing papers ill improve enough to clear the goddamn cutoffs in PS and DI.

simcat 5 i had 40-45 attempts in verbal and RC combined, 10 attempts in PS and 15 attempts in DI.

im really looking down the drain this time as well.

someone tell me, if i mark all questions as one choice, by probabilty of 25%, dont i stand to gain a couple of marks in a section.

Hi all,

Not satisfied at all with my performance. I don't know how high my score of 52 stands right now, but i think i could have done a lot better. I hate IMS RCs -my accuracy there is terrible, and i don't think i am TOO much at fault there - i continue to disagree with the answers IMS has given. I hope i am not alone in this.

The break-up:
Section 1: 10.25
Section 2: 8.75
Section 3: 11.75
Section 4: 21.25 (good? bad? ugly?)
Net: 52.0

generally the mumbai percentiles are out by sunday night...chennai and other metros by monday night...and national percentile sometime on wednesday.

hey guys,
this is wat i believe percentiles will be:

50 + = 99 percentile
45+ = 97 percentile
40 = arnd 92 93 percentile.
35 will be abt 87 percentile
30 will be above 80 percentile.

Though i think am not too sure of this. Cant assess was it exactly a tough or medium paper coz of my own poor performance. definitely tougher than simcat -2 and simcat - 4. Not sure wat wil eventually percentiles be though? I am so depressed with my own mediocre performance tat i dont like saying anything more and rather shd dust my BRM's again.
