How to apply for a change of centre?

Dear friends,

I have got my centre for CAT as Hyderabad where as I am now in Pune. I am under terrible pressure from my project lead. I would not be able to go to hyderabad to Pune just for writing the exam. So people can you please advice me on how to go about applying for a change of centre?

Hi,
as far as i know abt the change of centre it is almost impossible to get it. but you can try by just simply mailing to the concerned IIM. and if u get lucky then u might get a change. but it a very rare chance that they will change it. try if u r lucky they might.

applyin for a center change is really really difficult..twas also there in the brochure..now since u are alrready in a diff place all i can think of u callin up the concerned IIM..i guess urs wud be IIM B and tell them ur situation...try ur luck man and dnt lost hope..miracles do happen in life..just dnt feel low and since its a sunday i guess make some arrangements b4 just in case if centre change is nt possible coz g8 ur workin but i guess u wud also know wat wonderful things cud happen if u bell the CAT....so try to keep all options open

dude... i think its impossible, really.. my frnd had asked for a change in centre last yr but they said it wasnt possible.... neways, try ur luck... all the best to u

hi,

i was presently atrainee at infy mysore, but now i have been posted at pune & my test center is bangalore.
they said it cild change if i show some proof documents but i dont know which documents to be submitted as proof.

kindly help me should i cotact hr to produce some proof or shld i send them the downloaded location list as proof.

i am exactly in the same situation my friend.. i cant believe this.. u had just posted what i was about to ..

i am also at infy-mysore.. test centre is banglore.. but "employee friendly" infy had posted me at pune..

any updates on ur situation???
