this mock was much easier than previous ones....except di which i found tougher than usual. Tried to give equal time to all sections. Still trying to figure out what took me so much time in DI, i attempted easier questions only from this section. Should have rather given more time to RC.

i see scope for lot of improvement in quant, just need to brush up the concepts.

Whoa! What a mock this was!!!

Started doing the sctions in sequential order...
But only after 10 mins I found myself in DI... gave 30 minutes each to DI and Qant in that order....
In section 2, did 2 passage thoroughly... then picked up questions randomly from the remaining passages... Gave 25 mins to this section...
Came back to section 1 .. gave 10 more mins... Did glance questions 11-20 and 25-32... but left them ...
Final 10 mins were given to Quant and DI...

Hi guys...
The Easiest of all CL papers by any means. Can't dare to guess the highest.
I am getting arnd 96.
VA 36/2 35.5
RC 21/8 - 19
QA 26/14 - 22.5
DI 21/6 - 19.5

I would say .. take away the 10 deduction logic questions from the verbal section.. and we would have a standard CAT paper..
But some may even argue that the grammar and the parajumbles were way too easy .. Cutoff for this section might be 20 (+-) 1

Coming to RC.. 1 section which i always screw in a 4 section paper.. and this time it wasn't an exception.. cutoff might be aound 12 in this section

Quants was pretty standard.. on first looks it seems that the section is tough.. but once at home.. when we are easy and free from exam pressure.. we start finding the sitters which we had left in the test.. but a very well disguised section..
Cutoff for this section should not exceed 12

One of the specialities of these CL Mocks has been the variety of graphs and charts.. this time too we find a few new types of DI sets..LR was standard.. another good section.. cutoff for this section again should not exceed 13.

Now for what I managed out of this mock :

As everyone has said it WAS the easiest mock so far. The toppers must be scoring in the 100s in this one.
My scores:
EU+VL - 34/31/3/30.25
RC - 37/26/11/23.25 (it was not as easy as in the last mock though)
QA - 19/15/4/14
DI+DS+AR - 30/25/5/23.75
Total - 120/97/23/91.25

Hi

I dont think RC was tough but i guess it needed more time. I attempted around 20 there and am getting around 12. That is quite a sad score.
EU was simple. Did it in 20 minutes and am getting around 34.
Quant was better for me this time but if only i had 10 more minutes..... getting around 12
DI required proper selection of easy questions and i totally screwed up that theekthaksingh wala set. otherwise it was OK. 19.5.

As i mentioned in the TIME AIMCAT 511 thread, i just whiled away last 5 minutes without attempting even one problem - something needs to be done about that.
Also, Accuracy was pathetic - and i guess i just chose the wrong RCs

Couldn't concentrate during the paper bcoz wanted to go to the loo - and - well - .... a suggestion - dont drink too much water before the test

I dont think this test is going to get me a great percentile - because it ws simple and expect a lot of folx to do much better
