How much ru ppl studying CATers?

Hi all I am really keen on knowing how much u ppl are studying?how are u doing wat ur doing..and wats d study schedule like?

yep...thats one qn i wanted to ask every1 here...every1z either studying or workig rite...i get home only by7 and feel so tired...not been able to put in more than an hour...newbie...how much r u doin...my simCAT did nuthin to my morale...got 3400+....

thats the kind of competition youre up against i'm afraid. many of us are working and you just have to find a way. only those who can sustain the pace of things will make it.

be keen observer
try to understand exactly what u do

work-ex guys are going to face more
on work experiences
so gather knowledge there
understanding the company wherever u are will help
i think.

instructors tell that 4hrs X 6 months is enough
coupled with reading of newspapers , biz magazines for a year abt

this kind of preparation is good enough

u know...there's really no point knowing this...yes...cat is abt how well u do relatively but that has no relationship with the way others r studying

i've stopped reading the aimcat threads (except for an occasional peek-a-boo)...coz i really don't wanna know what others r up to....it doesn't make a diff...two months more to go....n i hv a fair idea what i'm supposed to do to reach there....n jus' becoz xyz took 50 mock cats to finally crack cat...it doesn't mean that i too need to take 50...hope u get what i'm trying to say

for some ppl it may work +ively...knowing what otehrs r up to..what strategies they use...but i think self-discovery is the best...n finally what stick on is what u've discovered by urself

i too find it tough to gebback home n study...but somedayz i do manage...i tell myself...geez! ppl hv done such complicated thingz in life...discovering teh structure of DNA ...n i can't stay awake for a coupla hrs n do a buncha DI probs??

well...i'm no one to lecture ...i don't do that great in mocks

I too think there is no point in lookin at how much time others r puttin in.......... U will always find people who have been in the race for 2-3 years. reading their posts and scores really psyches me out........

By the way, I am a first timer at CAT, preparin for the past 30 days and not even done with the quant basics till now.

For the record I took AIMCAT509(my first) and got 82%ile,cleared cutoffs in DI and VA. I hardly get to study for 1-2 hrs a day since I am workin and get home only after 8:00.God knows if I can put in some effort atleast over the next 2 months..........
