Hey man..ofcourse 60 out of 60 will be better....no reasons for it...its but obvious.

If u ask whether "60 out of 60" is better OR "65 out of 100" is better....then it seems sensible....well there was a good enough discussion on this & everyone had their own theory to prove their point.

The same question is nagging me since a long long time.

Hope "65 out of 100" option comes out to be a better one

I would prefer 60marks/60 than 70marks/100.

I dun know whether this info will be any usefull to u ppl but i attempted 82 in cat 2003 and got a score of arnd 62 which earned me call from 5 IIM 's leaving aside IIM A

i feel there r will b no one like 60/60

u need 85-90% accuracy
clear cutoffs
99+ percentile

for each paper attempt & score will vary
depending on difficulty level
so dont look at score

attempt what u feel u r good at
& accurate
work upon those areas

find out easy questions in the paper
attempt those
the one who finds max is #1

I know one guy who attempted 56 in the retest, got 52 net and around 97.5 percentile. He got the call from A. I'm not sure about his other calls.

I would still prefer 98 percentile with 90+ accuracy, than 99.5 with 70 percent accuracy.

I dont agree, 99.5 %ile is always much better than 98%ile. I for instance had a OKish accuracy of 78-79% in CAT with a %ile of 99.93.

Yaar, 79% accuracy with 99.93 is altogether is different thing.

I would prefer 99.99 even with 70%.
